Anyway, today, the day before May, was the day I finally learned, after all these years, the meaning of that one NSYNC/Timberlake meme.

Because you see, I had been hearing that lyric as “It’s gonna be May” this whole time.

And although I’ve never exactly been a fan who sought out the music, I did occasionally hear the song. And I thought people were just straight up quoting a seasonal lyric. Like when people say “wake me up when September ends.”
