My goal was to draw without outlines, but my sweet little brown cyclops appeared kick some piñata asses. Was fun to do that! X)

So I got this: the offspring between Jabba and Clayface (from Batman animated series). :P

In the last days I've been working a lot! It was like Geppetto's hell to a doll maker (but I like it! <3 ). I did twelve dolls in the last three days and more two a week before, so there's no much free time to draw in this month . This is a sketch that I did last week. I'll ink and color when I have more free time, but I still have thirty eight dolls to make... so this is ain't gonna be that soon... :P

Now I'm starting to find my personal style to do those backgrounds (I hope... : P ) ...

A two days ago I started another part of my creative studies: a comic strip. Now you can see it finished! Was a interesting process, but a took a lot of time to finish it. I hope improve my time in others tests. You can see it in higher resolution here.

Continuing my creative studies, the challenge of this time is make a comic strip. Since I started to drawing (a 19 year ago), one of the my personal flops was build a comic. I never accomplished one and I decided to make one for my toy company (yes, I'm f***'in crazy or stupid -or both- ...). Before to get there, I have to start simple. This is a snack pic from my first comic. Will be only three panels, but I liked the finished sketches... :)

Maybe he will be a friend for the furry cyclops ( -maybe- someday I will need to draw a interaction scene...)

Today I decided to draw a "technical scheme" for a possible articulated doll. I don't know this is right, but since I started to make toys (2007) the only material I used was rag and plush. Will I accomplish to do that? I really don't know, but I'll try! :)

The drawn isn't perfect, but that is it! : )

Back to my background illustration studies. In this time I tried a different approach: all draws were made in the same technique, but I'm not certain about that. I'd liked the "look and feel" of the last attempt...

I love 2D animation, so I decided to emule the visual - like a still. This isn't good yet, even though I spent 7 hours to do that (and is kinda boring for a character designer -me- to draw a lot of fruits and other elements of grocery... : P )

The finished version of last sketch. This is the first step for me to make backgrounds (ok! Is just a sky with four clouds, but a man have to start from somewhere. :P )
