Lets talk about how hard it is to open up to someone about being sad for no reason. Lets talk about how hard it is to understand why you’re having a panic attack while just taking a walk back home. Lets talk about how hard it is to understand your own self and how scary it is to feel like the whole world is falling on your shoulders and you have no idea why .

do you care about people with ocd? bipolar disorder? schizophrenia? autism? any other disorder besides unipolar depression and anxiety? all the “odd” and “scary” behaviors that they may exhibit? do you include them in your posts or do you only defend people with mental illnesses that dont make you uncomfortable?

I know a good number of straight people who go to Pride to celebrate the lives of friends and family who have died because they want to remember them as they lived, happy and joyful and surrounded by a community that loved them.
