Anyone still around?

Things have have been difficult lately. And, as some of you may know, Batanes is still recovering from the damage it took when Super Typhoon Ferdie visited the province. My family is still recovering as well back home, and I don't feel like asking their help with the things I need especially right now that they're the ones in most need. So I'm selling my barely used GoPro Hero+ LCD. If anyone of you might be interested, please drop me a DM. Thank you.😊

Realization from today's shoot with college friends.

This was taken last year during my first actual backpacking. I only had one lens back then, which was a 40mm f/2.8. I wanted to capture the grandness of the rice terraces and the waterfalls, but 40mm isn't just wide enough. Still, I tried my best not to let the limitations of having only a prime lens keep me from doing what I love. I've made lots of mistakes, took lots of junkshots/crappy photos, but I've learned a lot and had a great time! It was one of the best experiences in my life. I'll just put it on my bucketlist to visit this place again with a wide angle lens.😊 Like what Arthur Ashe said, "Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can." 2015 was a life-changing year for me. The death of a dream got me into a detour three years ago, and the birth of a new dream got me back on track. I am finally moving forward again. I am finally getting the hang of life again. This year, I had the most adventures of my life. I have seen so many things for the first time, did so many things for the first time, had so many things for the first time. It was the year when I finally got an actual camera and started doing the things I’ve been dreaming of for years. Great things have happened since then. It’s been a wild ride! So many detours, so many lessons, so many blessings. God, thank you for everything. Traveling is a constant hello and goodbye, and that’s what I hate the most about traveling. However, just like in life, it’s inevitable. I also said goodbye to my teenage years just this month. And, now it’s finally time to say goodbye to the year 2015 and say hello to 2016.
