Usually i don't care that much about sequels, cause they're almost never as good as the original, and imo this is the best movie ever, but 10+ years from now it would be awesome to see the second half of Elton's life in a movie with the same cast and crew, about Candle in the Wind, Lion King, how he met David, got kids, etc..

I cancelled my cinema ticket, because the infection numbers are rising again over here (thanks to idiots who think it's back to normal or have to go on holiday) and my mum's very sick, and i don't think i want to take the risk it, or enjoy it as much as i'd like to. It's my favourite movie ever, and i'd love to see it on the big screen again, but other things are a lot more important right now 😔

Aw thats fair about the directing and stuff! Im not the best at picking up on that kind of thing! And I did find it very cheesy as well haha. But I think i liked it because after seeing the reviews and its score on imdb I was expecting it to be really god awful! I thought it was a fairly entertaining cheesy film haha can't ask for much more! Plus, obviously, taron 😂
My expectations were pretty low as well, but unfortunately i thought it was pretty crappy, i feel kinda bad about it though, because so many people worked hard on it 😕
Btw i watched Billionaire Boys Club around the same time and also had low expectations because it got postponed and had bad reviews and i didn't really want to watch KS in anything but i liked it! Taron was so good and his American accent sounded very good to me 😉 (although now i dislike AE as well, ugh two guys i don't want to see anymore in one movie 🤦🏻♀️)
Thanks for answering my ask about Robin hood! I decided you were right to give it a go for taron and I have to say I actually really enjoyed it!! What was it you didn't like about it you didn't want to say before?
I think the directing had some problems, and the credits reminded me of RocknRolla, the turn around and kiss scene looked weird, the costumes, the music and the look reminded me of The Dark Knight (but in a bad wannabe way), bad guys who got hit overreacted, etc.
Afterwards i found out that Taron wasn't happy during filming and he wasn't happy with the movie, that it wasn't the movie he signed up to, it lost it's vision, so sad ☹️
But i'm glad you enjoyed it! I tried but i just don't like it 🤷🏻♀️

Yeah i have seen it, and i saw pretty photos and gifs before and knew it got bad reviews, but thought it couldn't be that bad. Well imo it was ☹️ But if you're a Taron fan you have to watch it at least once. He's worth it 😉
