Love got to me in small ways, I started to like colors again

There is comfort in the forest around the mountain house, enveloping it like a hug. Days pass slower here letting time to heal.

I went up to the mountain house and sat in it's quiet. We're half way trough spring but here it's winter still. Like even time respects it's peace.

Is it the first warmth of the sun after all this rain or is it that the spring is finally in bloom, I don't know but it feels like the life is saying hello. And all my thoughts are saying hello to you again.

Would you name your daughter after that song, I think I would. So I could love...

I don't ask questions. Even therapist said it "Your communication is limited to answers" no solution no advice, she just left it at that. Now I'm thinking back I guess even then all the questions I could think of were for you.

What's it like so far from home? Or did far become your home?

Do you talk to anyone from back then?

I don't think people ever regret what they've done, only what they haven't. Words left unsaid. Chances never taken.

That song again, words linger on. How is it relatable when we were newer even friends?

How long has it been, can't even think back that far. 10 years 12... How different we are?

That song sings about regret, regret of being friends or regret of not being more.

I remember faces but never names, always awkwardly asking again. You said your name to me only once, and it's stuck with me forever.
