So, let's paint a portrait of my darling son (...eventual daughter?) TC is very smart. Incredibly skilled with technology. He made Cha.OS, made SHURB (with Ly'lac's help), and made that little mechanical lotus for Ly'lac too. He is a manipulator, although I do not think he is aware of how sinister he is. In his conversation with Swiss, we see him wrangle Swiss into waiting longer to play ("I need you to be STRONG for me, Swiss"), and with his Del'fi chat he tries to dangle the promise of meeting CT as bait for Del to also play SHURB. He hates boredom, though seems to have fallen victim to it repeatedly in the past. While he talks with Del'fi, he is very enthused about how "new" all of the coming events are going to be, and CT mentioned to Del'fi that "for a project to hold his attention this long? thats nothing short of next level". TC claims to have been in a similar place to Del'fi, alone and depressed, though interactions with Ly'lac have cheered him up and made him this...very hopeful person. He directly says that Ly'lac saved his life. He puts a lot of importance on doing something by oneself. This is an odd stance for a satyr to have, given they're all about community and fraternity. He wants Del'fi to take life by the reigns with his own two hands, and he's setting stuff up for Ly'lac but refuses to actually start playing for her. If you don't do it yourself, it doesn't mean anything to TC. Furthermore, he has ideas for what would be best for everyone and tries to get them to go along with it. This is very Dirk-like. Ly'lac should try this sugar cube, Swiss should expand his social circle and chill, Del'fi should care more and actively try and meet CT. TC denies fate. When Del'fi tries to lay out the Nymph belief of basically passive pessimism, TC refuses to believe that there's only two ways they can go (I'm gonna circle back to this in a bit) and wants to try and forge a third path. TC is close to someone who knows a lot about future events. It could be Dirk. Swiss says that TC has had a “front-row seat to the Founder’s entire life for the past few laps”, and TC says that his Old Man's servers had information detailing that they were all going to play this game. Notably, however: he does not mention the "outsiders" (Omega kids) as being part of playing. He's bringing them in himself for his own reasons...

Now let's look at that one Interesting Line again.

we get to see some cute little oldspeak jokes with Del's hacking (glomps...), before seeing that Tavvy is seemingly going to be aligned with Del'fi! We saw a very similar panel with Vrissy overlooking Ly'lac, and here's Tavvy doing the same to Del'fi...wonder who Harry and Yiffy will get!! and here's the big bucks for me. the giant ass TC/Del'fi convo that was teased all the way back during NYCstuck...this is a long one so buckle the fuck in. TC starts with being pretty friendly, actually. He seems genuinely thrilled that Del is trying to hack in, and doesn't discourage him from pushing further. He tries to banter back and forth, and Del, oddly enough, indulges this. Despite Del seemingly clearly Hating TC. i do find the "My Ly'ly" bit interesting. Del picks up on it being quite a possessive way of speaking, but I can't help but wonder if TC meant it more in a..."The Ly'lac *I* know wouldn't do that" or something along those lines. I also like how TC is seemingly genuinely excited to be talking to Del'fi at all, realizing there's a chance he can do roleplay with him. He's really trying to make a friend here, which is pretty cute. Del does try and...flirt, I guess, with TC? Though I think this is just Del trying to weird him out to get him to go away (and it does seemingly weird him out a little bit). TC seems to really agree with doing what ones self wants to do, following one's heart, even? TC then tries to invite Del to play the game. He reveals he knows a lot about Del's past, and says he can relate, which is interesting. Once again we see here TC putting importance on taking life by the reigns with your own two hands...this is a core belief of his.

I find it funny how TC calls AA "chica" and also seemingly wants to hang with her as friends also. Bud she is not gonna let that happen. We then get some crazy ass TC lore: he knows someone, someone he calls the "Old Man", and that Old Man has servers...servers with very interesting details. These servers gave TC the knowledge that he, his friends, and the three nymphs, were all going to play the game. TC figured out the nymphs were coming in by doing educated guesswork it seems, something he quite enjoyed doing. He suggests that it was possible for the Old Man to have told him everything, but is thankful that he didn't (again, this is TC's whole "you have to do it yourself or it doesn't mean anything" belief coming into play).

He seems to be super enthralled by surprises. Miracles, even, you could say. The way he speaks about running into Ly'lac is fascinating. This is a special and super cool and entertaining thing to him. To Del'fi, though, he's far less interested and claims it's just a regular happenstance. Nothing special to it at all.

TC tries to convince Del to play further, saying that he belives that Del deserves "so much more" than what he's currently got. He says that it's been a long time since he's last felt this anxious, and that soon he and Del are going to "be free". Del'fi hits back with Nymphian Doomerism. No, actually, nothing will happen, you cannot change anything, you're just walking along the destined path. Very Rose-like, don't you think? "Well, I'm gonna get shot in the head, so to make that less painful for my loved ones I'll ruin my life and my relationships with everyone around me so they won't mourn me and waste time on me." This Line Is Interesting.

TC continues to reveal more, saying that Ly'lac showed him things that "saved his life", and points out that the Del/CT relationship is important and matters.

Del'fi is hitting his limit and continues to grow more frustrated with TC, but TC wrangles the conversation back into, essentially, only him talking. He reveals that he is fully aware of the Del/CT relationship, even sneaking into their private RP server to read everything.

This Line Is Interesting.

Once again we have TC's "you have to do it yourself" mentality. He is also clearly trying to leverage the CT/Del relationship so that Del will play. Del'fi flips the fuck out, vowing to make TC pay...okay Vriska...we then get confirmation that Del's...place of residence, let's say, is certainly alive! And here comes a second HUGE LORE DUMP. When the Nymphs learned that SHURB would be played, they all instantly just gave up. Many were orphaned. One orphan created this place, and had a weapon of mass destruction (presumably the LIGHTSEED). This particular Nymph sought to end loneliness altogether, and nearly ended the world in so doing. She was pacified and put to sleep, but her only real action since was taking the *meteor Del'fi was on as a baby*.
