“do you want me to call her? i can make her appear just for you.” Hook was tired of the apparent rivalry, or estrangement, between Tink and Zarina. It made everything harder, and having to navigate between two temperamental girls was tiring. “she wont be coming anytime soon, and if she did i’d hope both of you could remain mature around each other.”

she shoved the paintbrush back in her tote, her jars clanking at the bottom with every step she took, letting people know when she was on the move. the thought made her smile but the feeling on her shoulder spun her around and the smile only grew. “oh thank you! people don’t really say much about them but it’s not really about that now is it.. do you paint?”

“you know how to make prada, T? looks like your skills are really improving then, huh?”

“no,” she corrected with a gentle shove into his arm, “but i know how to fix prada. if you fight something vintage, i can fix it up.” 

    ❝  TINKA , got it .  i’m peg ,  &&  i wouldn’t be too surprised  —  my schedule can be  a little messy .  ❞  although the singer’s work usually required her to be at the lounge mostly during night time ,  it still kept her busy during the day ;  &&  when it didn’t ,  peg always found other things to do .  noticing how the other female eyed the rack ,  the singer tilted her head to the side ,  ❝  want help  f i n d i n g   something for your friend ??  ❞

Michael’s brows furrowed as he heard his name, moving from his bed to look out his window. Leaning against the window sill he let out a laugh, Tink surprising him with her presence. “Oh? Do you wanna come in? Or me come outside?” 

it felt like the two hadn’t talked in forever, and tink knew that was partially her fault. ever since peter returned, the last thing that she wanted was reminders of him. in fact, she hadn’t really seen any of the lost boys since he showed up on her doorstep that night. “depends! your sister home?” she teased, already making her way to the front door. 

    ❝  THEY’RE USUALLY PRETTY CAREFUL  with that stuff here ,  luckily .  i’m all for  a bargain ,  but i’m not about to walk around in stains  &&  holes .  ❞   a chuckle ,  arms folding across her chest as she kept ahold of the coat .  ❝  wouldn’t be  caught dead  wearin’ a poor animal’s skin ,  trust me .  i like you ,  what’s your name ??  ❞

     ❝  SO ,  what d'ya think ??  ❞   a hand rests on the rack as the other lifts a  beige ,  faux fur coat t owards the other ,  eyebrow lifting in a questioning manner .  yes ,  when peg decided to go shopping for some pre - loved ,  hopefully  designer goods ,  she didn’t consider the possibility of needing  company  just for the sake of having someone’s opinion on a  possible  purchase .  still ,  that didn’t mean she couldn’t just ask the first person she laid her eyes on what they thought of the coat .   ❝  looks  warm enough to me ,  &&  the price isn’t  half bad  for what it is ,  ❞  she added ,  glancing at the price tag ,  ❝  not half bad at all .  ❞

“Got any ideas on what I can get my mom for Christmas that isn’t that expensive and will get her to leave me alone ‘till Mother’s day?”

“not a clue,” tink replied with a small shrug. “i could always help make something if you want.” 

“Hey, is this yours?” Despite having the courtesy to ask the person beforehand, Nibs didn’t hesitate to dip a hand into the bag of chips and promptly pop it into his mouth. “Not my favorite flavor, but it could be worse. Can I have some more?”

“yeah it is──” tinka began before her mouth promptly gaped open. “uh, that’s because they were for me.” she crossed her arms, lip jutting out into a pout. reluctantly, she nodded before letting out a sigh. “fine. just finish ‘em.”
