Your Tinderella

You lovelies, I found my favourite boy. This is the story of how we met. We matched on tinder back in March, and we talked everyday. Almost a month ago we started face timing and facetimining for hours on end, I am talking we would stay up until 7am talking. Last Wednesday night he DM’d my roommate making plans so that he could drive up on the Thursday to surprise me. The Thursday came and I actually ruined the surprise because I saw him on the street and he ran up and hugged me and it was honestly so cute.

So as it seems, tinder did bring me one good thing, it brought me someone who I actually ended up seeing for quite a few weeks. We matched late last year and continued talking until I got to university, then in October we met up and he ended up spending the night, all he did was sleep beside me because his bus pass was all messed up. That night sparked what would be from October to march on and off. On and off this boy came over to spend the weekends with me. He kissed me like his life depended on it, and it became some of my favourite times, it was not until a few weeks ago when we went through times where we would go weeks without talking that we ended it, he is still one of my close friends and I do miss when he would come over to sleep with me and we would laugh until 4 am. 

Well ladies and gents I am writing early this morning to bring you the story of what has happened over the past 48 hours. In the past 48 hours I have kissed 3 boys and have a tinder date planned tonight so we can add a fourth to this. As it stands 48 hours ago I was spending time with one of my tinder boys and we were kissing and what not, then last night I had another one of my long term and favourite tinder boys over to open my window. I had been seeing this long term tinder boy but then we had a falling out so I did not know if we were seeing each other but he ended up spending the night and kissed me 1.5 hours ago. Heres the shocker last night my roommate invited our gay bff over and as I was standing in front of the long term tinder boy I had grabbed my gay bffs face so he'd look at me and he kissed me, IN FRONT OF MY LONG TIME TINDER BOY. So in the course of 48 hours I have kissed 3 boys and tonight I will be kissing a fourth, in just over 48 hours I will have kissed 3 tinder boys and a gay bff.

Although I have had my fair share of awkward tinder meet ups and awkward situations mixing that with bad decisions something amazing has come out of tinder and swiping right. During my tinder swipes, I had the best luck when I swiped right on two different guys. It’s been over a year and I consider these boys my best friends, I go to them for everything, honestly. Now I have yet to meet these boys because they do not live in the same country as me, although one is still quite close, just a little out of reach. I don’t think that tinder is just for random hookups, I do believe real things with real passion and love can come out of a swipe right. Fear not my lovelies for you too will find someone. 

So my next big Tinderella story begins with matching with a boy, we start the usual texting all the time and then the next thing you know is we are snap chatting 24/7 and face-timing all the time, then we planned to meet up when me and my best friend were in the area, it ended up being the MOST AWKWARD meet up of all time. He did not look at me, nor did he talk to me. That ended that tinder match pretty quick. On the drive home my best friend made fun of me the entire time, and that my lovelies is another tinderella story for the books! 

Being a tinderella can be a lot of work, especially because there are so many boys on tinder. So the next boy I’m writing about is the first boy I had been officially “seeing”. This boy drove an hour and a bit to come and meet me, we met up at a Tim Hortons and went down for a drive to the River to sit and chat, this went on for 3 months, he drove down almost every day to come and see me and chat and kiss in his car. We were doing well until his ex girlfriend went all crazy and we had a massive fight on the phone and we never spoke again. Almost a year later this boy is now hitting my phone up, trying to meet up again, but he was a mess and never again will this Tinderella fall for that. That my lovelies was my first major tinder fling. 

I was 17 at the time when I decided to download the ‘oh so famous’ app and start swiping. When I finally got the hang of the app, the swipe rights just started pouring in. I was too scared to meet up until I matched with a boy who lived in my area, we decided to go meet up at a mall, I was with a friend and her boyfriend so it was perfect. This boy was cute and so we ended up walking around the mall for 20 minutes. We met back up with my friends to leave and he walked us back to the car, this boy stopped me and before I knew it there we were kissing in an underground parking lot, and that my lovelies was my first ever Tinderella experience
