Be still my heart 😍 For a while now my 6 yo Emma has been as obsessed with @taylorswift as I am. Every night before bed she asks her Alexa to play Taylor before bed. We snuggle and she asks me what I think each song is about (we have our own mini secret session) She just finally asked if my husband could teach her Everything Has Changed on guitar. This was her first attempt at learning to play a few chords. I even let her play with my signed Taylor guitar I won a while back from subway! I sure must love this little girl! 💕

Thursday my daughter went to the sweetheart dance with her daddy. I recieved a text from my husband that my daughters friend was being mean to her. As a parent all you want to do is protect your sweet baby but you also want them to stick up for themself. My husband took our daughter for a milkshake too cheer her up. Today while we snuggles up in bed for cuddle time she said how her "friend" was mean to her in gym class again. Her friend has also told her she didnt want to be her best friend anymore because she wasnt pretty enough, wasn't cool enough ect in the past. I was at a loss what to do but since my sweet little 6 year old and I both love @taylorswift we turned her alexa on to The Best Day and sang. I'm so happy my 6 year old and my 30 year old self can both find Taylor Swift music relatable to everyday life. Emma also decided that tonight that maybe she will stay away from her "friend" for a little while. My heart breaks for my sweet girl. I wish everyone saw her through my eyes.
