"Okay, but if you lose, you help me in watering my seedlings for a week." Tilden said with a friendly smile, setting his broom down.

“No skin off my back.”

“Please?”

“I’m sorry. I guess my mind is elsewhere at the moment,” he furrowed his brow. “Oh. Are we even allowed to have dogs in the castle? And if we’re not… how did he get in? I have a lot of questions for that dog.”

“Apology accepted if you lend me a hand transferring my seedlings to another soil bed if you have free time in your hands, mate.” He smiled. “That, uhm, I don’t know exactly. Do you think it’s a selfish good idea I keep him for the mean time?”

“I’ll let your imagination run wild.”

“But that would leave me thinking up until late at night, Joey.”

“There was just a lot on information in one sentence.”

“Oh, I’m sorry. I was just a bit carried away, is all.”

“Tooty has an inappropriately lewd ring to it, eh?” He mused out of nowhere. “I wish I could, Rita, I truly do. But that would take me months and months to focus on studying the plant and with the exams coming I don’t think I have the time?”

“All of it? I don’t even know who we’re talking about, if I’m going to be honest.”

“I’m actually hurt you’re not paying attention to me, mate.” Tilden feigned indignation, although chuckling at the end of his statement. “I was talking about this lost dog I found perambulating ‘round the corridors, you know. I think he was about to cry. Or laugh. Not really sure.”

“Because it is, Ed. Don’t let it get to you-- tough guy!”

“No….I don’t know. I have no idea what you just said to me….who are you again?”

“Well, that sucks. I sort of poured my heart out narrating that one,” He shook his head before extending his hand. “Oh. Hello, I’m Tilden Toots.”

“No, I don’t! Use your words for Merlin’s sake.”

“Why? Uh, what’s so hard in understanding it?”

“Well, have you heard of the pimple-curing abilities of a bubotuber, Rita? I haven’t proved it yet myself, but it’s quite the whisper around town..”

“I’m afraid I don’t follow.”
