Tiki Lounge

It’s a moth. A mildly creepy one, for Halloween. And for a T-Shirt, in theory, but that’s a whole other story.

I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth, I’m just working on another vaguely complete picture rather than having retreated into simply daily sketches. It has shading AND a background. Or it will when I’m finished, anyway.

Another work in progress, but one I kinda like. Not for a challenge this time, just want to try my hand at a knock-off Transformer design using some of the new tricks I spent last week figuring out.

Calling this the finished version, so I can take what I’ve learned and get back to other things at this point.

It’s a dystopian swat-trooper. The spear is dual purpose, grab or poke. This piece is the late-stage WIP of a piece I’m working on for a weekly challenge. I’m pretty happy with how it’s going, but it’s rather kept me from doing other things and I’m stiff as a post at this point.

She’s a ginger now. This versions a little better, I think? Still doesn’t look convinced, does she?

It’s another of those little witch girls. She doesn’t seem quite so sure about it all, though.

It’s a cat! Well, it looks like a cat. It’s actually not a real one, just a bunch of rags and fluff. But don’t tell it that!

It’s this one again. Except happy. Or at least, looking happy? Maybe that’s close enough.

This lovely lady is definitely not a murderous lizard wearing a person suit. What a ridiculous suggestion!

It’s a play on words.

Didn’t get any art done today for the first time in a week or two. Mostly on account of getting therapeutically and embarrassingly drunk with/at friends though, which happens but once every now and again. On the plus side, I have at least three sketches already scanned in to finish up like the other recent ones and a request from  a friend yet to sketch, so I should be sorted for the forseeable.

It’s a random Kaiju thingy. Sketched yesterday, Coloured today.

Didn’t have time or inspiration to do anything from scratch today. Gave me an excuse to go back to the pencil sketch I had of this character and put together something a little more complete though, so that works out.
