Naturally, when Nao is told to stay after class is dismissed,she immediately figures it’s something she did wrong. Though she’s certain she couldn’t have done anything, her mind still races with endless ways this conversation could go. Everyone knew of Aizawa’s track record of suspensions as a teacher. Fidgeting under his intense stare, her eyes drop down to the manila folder before flitting up to meet his.

At the other’s words Nao sits up straighter,nervousness suddenly replaced with determination. “I am.. aware of that, yes.” She already knew of the many dangers she’d be putting herself in. Underground heroes likely faced far worse things than the well known ones. Though until she met Aizawa sensei she didn’t even know underground heroism was possible. “But I want to be a hero simply to help others. I don’t need to be on the news to do that.” And If she was being completely honest, she hated being on camera and as the center of attention. And she hated how heroes were only seen as these supernatural beings when they were all just humans doing what they can to help.

It would be a lie if Nao said she wasn’t afraid herself. She hoped that bringing a buddy would lessen the fright of the (expected) jump scares, though it didn’t seem like it was going to be that easy. In all honesty she thought Midorya would be able to handle it - she couldn’t have been more wrong.

When the ghost came seemingly out of nowhere, Nao flinched back with a yelp. But her fear was quickly replaced by shock when said ghost was sent flying across the room and through several walls. “A-ah.. you actually just..murdered that ghost I think.” Hopefully they wont get kicked out for this.

At least it gave a good scare to everyone who saw said ghost fly through several walls, Izuku just staring at the destruction. Maybe no one would notice? Just think it was part of the attraction, instead of a scared green bun almost getting a heart attack.

Through the shock and worry of this getting them in trouble Nao couldn’t help the light laughter bubbling up from her chest. “Your face was pretty funny though. I didn’t expect you to be this scared - you do know these things are fake right?”

“I thought it would be fun since these haunted houses are usually not scary because everything looks fake.” Well at least this was a good way to train their nerves of steel, something that she was sure they’d need going into the line of work as a hero.

Somehow it always seems to lead back to Bakugou. Whatever happened between these two couldn’t have been Midoriya’s fault, Bakugou just seems to get ticked off by literally anything. “Yeah let’s go I heard they have great food here that you can only get this time year.”

“Also is your arm okay?...You didn’t break it again did you? Recovery girl may ban you for real if you keep this up.” Of course she wouldn’t really do that, healing others is her job, but Midoriya was definitely pushing his luck.
