Muscles  ache,  his  hair  still  clinging  to  his  forehead  from  the  shower  he  took.  It’s  straight  now,  but  come  time  it  will  go  back  to  its  unruly  curls.  Poe  is  exhausted,  but  content.  For  he  can  feel  Jorda  next  to  him  and  it  relaxes  him.  Today’s  physical  test  was  much  worse  than  anything  they’d  endured  before,  but  he  persevered  somehow.  Now  his  hand  reaches  for  hers  and  he  intertwines  their  fingers.  He  allows  the  silence  to  rest  over  them  for  another  moment.  The  lights  have  turned  to  standby,  a  dim  blue  glow  over  the  room  to  signal  it’s  time  for  the  students  to  sleep.  Poe,  however  tired,  keeps  his  eyes  wide  open.  His  head  turns,  nose  brushing  against  Jorda’s  cheek.     ❛    STAY,    ❜      he  hums  against  her  skin,  forehead  leaning  against  her  temple.      ❛     Please.    ❜          /        @tiepiilot

                 breathing was steady ( after some calm time ) finally, muscles were aching but by now, they were used to it --- were they not? Training was hard and she was sure that no one had to go through so many tests, that no one had to do THIS but -- HE was there and that made it better. He was a safe heaven, a place she could return to when every other ship was going down. Her eyes were closed, lips slightly apart while she let him intertwine their fingers. Gentle squeeze of assurance, quiet noise of approval at the skin contact. There was a small smile on her lips but at his words she opened her eyes, head turning slightly to look at him. ❝I wish I could -- but when they catch us, I don’t want to get in trouble❞ she replied quietly as if she was SCARED that anyone could hear. ❝but ... I think I can spare a few moments...❞
