Thanksgiving was always my favorite holiday growing up, but it had its own unique challenge my aunts. Every year, without fail, they’d turn me into their personal tickle target. They’d catch me off guard, and the next thing I knew, I was trapped and under an all out tickle assault that would sometimes last for hours.

They’d sit me on the couch, corner me with mischievous grins, and before I knew it, their fingers would be everywhere feathery, sneaky, relentless. I’d laugh so hard I’d cry, begging for mercy, but they just kept going, loving every minute of it. It was torture in the best way total chaos and nonstop laughter, and honestly, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. It’s a holiday memory I’ll always cherish, even if it left me exhausted and teary eyed at the time.

My happy place is when I can’t move an inch and can only giggle and babble
