I've been a bad boy and it's plain to see ➛ 001
Zachary had spent the night snacking and pampering while watching his favorite movies. Friday’s had become one of the best nights to have his alone time during the weekend nights. His dad worked normal times, and as much as Zach loved him, Atticus was gone until right before or even after curfew. It was easier to focus on yourself when there wasn’t anyone around to distract you other than a kitten.
He also didn’t mind the cuddling he got once Tic was back home most nights. He wasn’t a fan of alcohol, or drunkenness, but he still found humor in Atticus came home after his parties. Not to mention the times he’d get to paint his nails, or do things to his hair while he went on about something like what he had wanted to eat but didn’t get to eat, or what had happened in math class. He always had a load of stories to tell his brother by the time Friday rolled around and Atticus was usually the one to get the ear full even if he didn’t particularly care.Â
Though, for a boy who told on people for stealing pencils he did cover up for his twin a lot, and it wasn’t owed all to the fact Atticus was his brother, or even that his brother let him talk for hours about completely useless things. He’d admitted to himself a while ago he was so eager to sneak him in and never tell their dad on him was because of the crush on him.
So, naturally when he received the anticipated text from his brother he replied simply.
“Kitchen door. I’ll bring you clothes.”
After grabbing pajamas from his brothers room so he could change in their half bathroom downstairs instead of risking Burt waking up and seeing him in the clothes he left in. As quietly as he could he made his way downstairs to open the backdoor so Atticus could come in.
Grinning in triumph when he received confirmation that Zach had his back, Atticus quietly darted around the house and waited at the back door. He was thankful that he and Zach were brothers. He assumed that their connection as twins was a big reason as to why Zach was so willing to help him. After three or so years of this, he was lucky that his brother knew the drill; as long as his dad didn’t stand close enough to him to smell the alcohol or the cigarettes, then he would be none the wiser, and it was all thanks to his brother.
Slipping inside, Tic leaned in to plop a sloppy kiss to his twin’s cheek. “You’re the real MVP,” he whispered, flashing him a bright smile. “The best. Seriously, we can go upstairs and I want you to tell me all about your fucking day, okay? Week, even. Let me just...”
He trailed off, scrubbing a hand over his face and dipping into the downstairs bathroom. He normally didn’t wear much of anything to bed, but he didn’t see much sense in ignoring the clothes brought to him, especially since he knew he’d be hanging out with Zach for an hour or so at least before he inevitably passed out.Â
Changing quickly into a new v-neck and the pajama pants, Tic emptied the pockets of his jeans and removed the belt. Once he exited the bathroom, he ducked into the laundry room to stick them in the washer before returning to his brother, holding his hand out. “C’mon, Kid. You do wanna hang out awhile, right?”
