        〝I—uhm…〟 Yes, he was staring. No, he couldn’t stop. Yes, he wanted to set himself on fire again, but the other was already setting him on fire. 〝I think—I think you forgot to put your shirt on. Unless you plan on going outside naked. Which I mean, it’s totally fine, just… unusual.〟

        He couldn’t hide the smile at Scott’s statement—and a wicked one at that. Noshiko was around and keeping an eye on them, and he was aware when he pulled close Scott to whisper in his ear. 〝If you keep helping and being a good boy, I’ll take care of another pair of eggs later.〟 And after a chaste kiss on his cheek, he went back to work as innocent looking as ever.

        〝 Maybe. I think so. I mean, it’s one of those things I can do only after a hug and a kiss from you. And cuddles. And—well, I guess we have plans for tonight.〟

        Kiran was confused. He could have expected such a reaction from an ordinary human, but Ricky was a werewolf, and now he felt like a fool. Most likely the other found it childish, or found him odd, or a mix of both. His gaze fell to the ground as he slipped the nunchackus back into his bag, clearly flustered, and he pulled out a little, pretty box. 〝 So, anyway, that’s how you do it. I’m sure you knew. 〟 Placing the box in Ricky’s hand, he gave a weak smile. 〝 Welcome into the pack. Enjoy. I made it. Not the pack, the cake. 〟 He still didn’t know why he listened to his father and made green tea cake, but it seemed like a good way to make friends. 〝 I’ll be around the school if you need me. 〟

        〝 That’s so cool! The bow is actually a pretty versatile weapon. I’m sure you’re good at it. We used to have an archer. 〟 Part of him wanted to mention that he knew how to use a bow and even a crossbow, but the other looked so proud that he didn’t want to ruin it. When he started swinging the nunchakus around like that, he couldn’t help the smile that turned into a chuckle. 〝 That’s not how you use them, 〟 he said, snatching one of them off of the werewolf’s hand with a quick move. Within a few seconds, Kiran was rotating the weapon around the length of his own arm with speed and precision, and yet fluid movements, putting distance between thanks to the sticks fending the air at the sides of Ricky. He stopped just one moment before striking the other’s cheek with the sticks, bringing them under his arm with another swing. 〝 Alright, did you catch that? Try to do what I just did. 〟

        〝 Really?! You really think s— 〟 He trailed off, looking everywhere but at the other guy. It wasn’t everyday someone paid him a compliment, but he spoke without realizing what he was saying. Clearing his throat, he turned around. 〝 Gimmie a sec. 〟 Dropping the towel and looking into his bag, he finally found some clothes, which he hurriedly put on. In boxers and t-shirt, he didn’t realize he put the latter one on the wrong side. Turning again, he smiled and walked towards the other, grabbing his hand and shaking it. 〝 I didn’t know you worked here. I’m sorry for upsetting you, but it’s nice to meet you! I hope you’ll let me make it up for you sometime. 〟

        〝 Why not? It’s lunch. I made it. 〟

        〝 W-What are you doing here?! 〟 When he went to change into the locker rooms of the gym, there was no one, so he thought he could make it back quick to grab the bag he forgot on one of the benches. But he wouldn’t be him unless he tripped over his words and the towel that was covering his bits as he noticed the other’s presence. Luckily he was nimble enough to recover quickly, but he was red from head to toes. 〝 I thought everyone would be gone by now... I mean, hi. My name’s Kiran. I don’t know why I’m saying my name, but still. It’s Kiran. 〟

        〝 Uh—not to sound creepy, but I kinda went on by myself and did all your homework while you were practicing. Hope you don’t mind? 〟

        〝 You can come out, you know? The guy’s gone. Unless I’m the one you’re avoiding. In which case, I’m sorry? I can pretend I didn’t see you. 〟
