noah-watsonâ:
Noah only hoped that he wasnât being totally annoying by snapping pics of literally every moment that had even a spark of significance for him. This was definitely a big one, and the fact that Danny hadnât pouted, hemmed, or hawed at it was a good sign. He was used to being told to âput the fucking camera awayâ by his ex time and again. With Danny, he felt the liberty to take photos of these beautiful moments.
When Danny confirmed that he didnât work the next day. He had in-fact known that, but asked on the off-chance Danny needed time for himself, or simply wasnât in the mood for company. It had been a long night, after all, despite their current excitement. Not that he felt tired in the slightest, but he felt revitalized when Danny gave his hip a squeeze. It felt reassuring. The curly brunette bit his lower lip and smiled, having forgotten all about the clothing heâd left at the otherâs house. No one had ever been this sweet to him, and Noah wanted to wrap his arms around Danny and smother him with kisses for it. âThat sounds great, babe,â he said sweetly. It felt damn good to call Danny babe.
Once they got back, Noah began to help Danny carefully pack away the remaining ceramics that hadnât sold for the night. Noah had a delicate touch, wrapping them carefully before setting them in a box. He hadnât expected Danny to slip him any money, and when he did, Noah laughed softly and tucked them back into Dannyâs pocket. âI couldnât! I didnât have any part in creating it, and if I was your muse for something thennn⌠Gosh, honestly, Iâm really fucking flattered,â he said, his face flushing as he straightened his shoulders a little proudly. He let out a quiet laugh and shuffled closer to Danny, wrapping his arms around him in a tight squeeze.
âAlthough I wanna see what I inspired! Thatâs⌠REALLY awesome. Like, nobodyâs ever said I helped inspire their art??? Thatâs⌠honestly the biggest compliment ever. Thank you,â he said, pulling back and smiling happily. He felt giddy, and floaty, and with Danny being this sweet, he also felt like he couldnât wait to get back to Dannyâs and strip down to nothing.
Danny didnât press him as he handed the money back. Noah was dangerously easy to spend money on and he hadnât even been his boyfriend at the time. AÂ craft six pack of cider here and a new set of organic cotton sheets there. Hell, heâd already spent a pretty penny on Noah tonight. That sixty bucks would make itâs way back to Noah in no time. Maybe even come morning if Noah wakes up early enough for them to beat the rush and grab some breakfast. He was significantly poorer and happier now that he had Noah as a staple in his life.Â
âWell Iâm glad you havenât inspired anyone elseâs art. Artists tend to have a bad rep,â Danny joked as he slid his money back into his pocket. Though he felt he didnât land in too many of the stereotypes surrounding artistic individuals himself heâd definitely seen the less desirable traits in his contemporaries. Heâd even been seeing an artist at one point and was sure there was some book of poetry written out there slandering his name. Artists are lovers and passionate and usually a whirlwind of an experience. He was glad Noah hadnât gotten his heartbroken being someoneâs muse only for them to put down the paints and pursue other artistic ventures.Â
It felt like Dannyâd said too much as he gave into the brief squeeze. He wasnât even sure heâd be able to explain how Noahâd inspired him without sounding bizarre. How could he explain that he painted an entire series of trinket trays in sunset hues just because of the time they ate In ânâ Out while watching the sunset over the beach in his car? Danny was playing with vibrant hues and warm tones that he could only understand being attracted to because they seemed to radiate from his mind any time he thought about him. It wasnât something he could conceptualize in the moment and frankly didnât want to. Truthfully itâd freak him out if he realized the scope he was being influenced by Noah.Â
That, and he didnât want to admit that heâd sculpted his posterior based off memory and sold it to a wealthy couple of older gentlemen to go behind their Grecian inspired bar.Â
âIâm sure Iâve got some pictures of some of the stuff,â Danny finally decided on buying him some more time. âLike I said a lot of the stuff you influenced sold so I donât have much to show you,â he lied. His sketchbooks told otherwise but those were kept under lock and key and purposely hidden away from Noah and anyone in the outside world to be honest. He seldom let othersâ eyes peer at the contents of those pages. It was like his diary in a way and just like he wouldnât want Noah reading pages just gushing over him; he didnât want him to see his doodles while thinking of him. âBut really like I said I should be thank you and paying you. Youâre the one helping me out here by being beautiful inside and out,â he insisted though he returned his attention to loading up his belongings. The whole process felt like it took a quarter of the time it usually did and before Danny knew it he was loading the last of his boxes in the back of his SUV. He wasnât sure if it was because Noah was so helpful or because Danny was eager to get back to his place.Â
