Three Universes, one Ask blog

Been struggling on what to do next with my work, but did come up with something I should help with information in my megaman x story. One of the things I want to talk about is the various kinds of machines and factions currently in the story. will start with default ones everyone who knows the game before bringing up the new ones that are part of my story. -o- Humans: the dominant species on Earth, they have lived long before the existence of technology. Pure organic and resilient to many situations, they will stand tall even to the most dangerous of threats that will harm them. Reploid: Replicated androids. these are the common machines built based off the blueprint of X, the machine discovered by Dr.Cain during one of his excavations. Commonly seen as humans, others can take the appear of animals, insects and even plants to suit the roles they are built for. Unlike the old robots from the past, artificial intelligence of reploids possesses free will and all them to make their choice, but this can also cause problems if one reploid choses to commit crimes or malfunctions. New Type Reploid: A name created by Dr.Constantine, one of Cain's students, this term was applied by the U.N. as a term used by the results of his nano tech turning humans into reploids. Though there's only a few documented New Types, they bare more organic traits while still being machines. They are still being studied as their abilities continue to grow with reports of a pegasus being able to transform into the maverick bosses he's defeated and a dragon being able to control the various elements in the world. -o- current factions Peacekeepers: Founded before the formation of the Maverick Hunters, they are world's primary military force that was form from the assimilation of NATO and the world's military's into a single fighting force for peace. Though not Maverick Hunters, many humans in their ranks have helped with fighting the mavericks. Some have shown they're fully capable of fighting the most dangerous of machines with some being S-rank hunters. Maverick Hunters: A organization comprised of reploids, their job is to stop out of control machines or criminal/terrorist reploid now renamed as mavericks, a name given to reploids who chose to commit criminal acts or are out of control. Originally Sigma was built to lead the force, but after he bombed Able City and declared war on humanity, the U.N. scrambled the Peacekeepers into keeping Sigma's forces in check while having Zero assigned as a temporary leader for the hunters. Present day, a unnamed reploid commander leads the hunters with Dr.Cain as a ambassador for the relations with humans and reploids. RepliForce: A reploid military force formed before the Maverick hunters, it assists in military operations with the Peacekeepers while also doing disaster relief in times of war or natural events. They are independent as the General and Colonel follow the orders commanders of the Peacekeepers though rumors are spreading they planning to allow them to become fully autonomous as the Maverick Wars continue to plague the world.
