- both seasons give a plausible enough reason why the show can go on the way it does instead of the crime scene immediately being locked down

- main character's romcom consistently goes horribly wrong

- someone interprets a former classmate pissing next to them in the men's bathroom as a direct challenge to their ability to urinate and responds accordingly

- there's a musical episode

- it's confirmed one of the character high fives during/after sex

- both seasons do a good job of tying together old history the characters have into current events in ways that actually make sense

- there's an animated episode

- one of the episodes involvs random muppets in the background (one of my faves)

- season 2 has a higher budget and has used all of it to wonderful effect

- there's a detective noir episode told by someone who brings up crypto unprompted

- heist film episode involves people competing for things in heated games of connect four.

- one of the characters in season 2 is nearly unchanged from episode to episode, no matter what genre the episode is in, to the point that his company's logo appears on the back of an otherwise authentic looking early 1800s frock coat

- the reveals all make sense.
