              THIS PLACE JUST CONTINUED TO GET MORE CONFUSING. she supposed having force sensitivity didn’t help because she was constantly feeling presences, both familiar and not. there were people without force sensitivity, but had powers. there were people that claimed she was from some movie called “star wars.” there were people that strangely know more about the world she lives in than she could ever hope to. it was confusing and strange, but she was trying.

             for all it’s oddities, there was one that stood out above them all: people came back from the dead here. some, as people that knew them said, came back as a younger self while others came back exactly the same as when they’d died. it all just added to the big question of what this place was and what they were all doing here.

             she felt like she would feel silly later for being surprised, but when she felt his presence, she was shocked. both her and leia had felt luke pass on. it was inarguable that he died. but as soon as she felt his presence, she saw him too as it solidifying that he truly was there. she steps slow are first, unsure, but quickens them as she gets closer. she stops a little ways away, biting at her lip, eyebrows drawing together. “you’re alive,” she says softly as a statement more than a question.

Brows raising at the information that he is currently taking in. Blood, transfusions literally like shooting themselves up with a new addiction. That’s all it sounded like to him and his mind carried on to compartment in his mind – which he kept locked for a variety of reasons. Clearing his throat, “Uhm, that’s quite – “ a lot of personal information had been shared – more than he accounted for. “ something.” but his mind lingered on the foreign term. “this, new blood – what makes it different than the rest? why is it so important?”

              JASON SUSPECTED HE CONFUSED THE OTHER MAN A LITTLE, but nodded anyway. it was something. it was a whole lot of something. it was a bunch of years of something. “oh! it’s synthesized from sarah newlin’s blood which had the antidote to hep v in it. because there’d been a whole bunch of tru blood injected with hep v and then a buncha vampires drank it and got hep v from it and it was spreadin’ and killin’ a whole hell ofa lotta vampires. also gettin’ human’s killed because tru blood wasn’t safe to drink. but with new blood, they got something to drink other than drinkin’ from humans.”

“Look, I didn’t steal your wallet, I didn’t even move from this spot” it was one thing to be accused when he was actually guilty, but this was a new low for him. He had just been standing there looking into a shop window. He looked around seeing someone standing nearby. “Look, ask her. Did you see me take anything?” and he hated pulling her into it, but he wouldn’t be arrested for something he didn’t do.

            ELIZABETH KEPT CATCHING HERSELF GAZING INTO SHOP WINDOWS AS SHE PASSED THEM. there was nothing wrong with it, but she kept finding things she wanted and would stop in her walk and debate a while before she would move on and it was just getting sad. she was hovering near one that had a dress she liked, but her attention was pulled from it over a conversation an argument two people were having. her eyebrows went together as she was brought into it. “he’s been here as long as i have,” she answered, directing her attention to the other person.

“you have a point. alright, come over here and show me what you got, Miss Jess.” his lips curved into a smirk as he slapped the counter beside him with the a wooden spoon. “which would you like to take?”

            GRINNING, JESSICA HOPPED DOWN FROM THE STOOL SHE WAS ON AND ROUNDED THE ISLAND TO JOIN MATT. she pursed her lips together in thought. “another difficult choice, but i think i might make better pancakes then eggs.”

After a trip to the local grocery store, Michonne was just trying to make it back to her place in one piece while her hands tried to carry all of the bags in one trip. She turned to head back home, her face connecting with the other person’s chest, soon dropping everything to the ground. “Shit. I’m sorry.”

             HOLDING BACK HIS TONGUE FROM SAYING ANYTHING IN ANNOYANCE, loki, calmly, nodded. he was still making friends and being on good sides so he had to just let it be. he’d been standing too close anyway. “no apologies needed, accidents happen,” he said, bending down to help her with some of the items. he moved his hand and some of cans that had rolled away rolled back closer to them. “i may have been standing too close.”

           steve supposed he shouldn’t be all too surprised that loki, of all people, was in this place as well. alive. stranger things had happened, and at this point he wasn’t even going to question the whole thing. “might be a good step in figuring things out,” he admitted. thought, he was a bit surprised that loki was the one offering up the advice. at least it was clear the trickster god had no hand in any of this. “can’t say i really expected you to be here.”

            LOKI COULDN’T SAY HE WAS COMFORTABLE AROUND THE CAPTAIN, but he could sense he wasn’t hostile so there was no harm in a light conversation. he wondered how many of the others were there. hopefully not any that wanted his head more than rogers did. not that he would just go right out and explain what really had happened between him, the tessaract, and them and that thanos, who was after him, was behind it, but he wouldn’t have the chance to. maybe with the captain because he hadn’t tried anything yet. he was still readily on defense. “i hadn’t expected to be here either in all fairness. a bit of a curiosity, this place is.” he shrugged before he looked at him. “where were you brought here from?”

Rick groans as he looks up at her, “Sorry sorry. I just shouldn’t be here. Need to be back home like two seconds ago I just can’t be here shouldn’t be here. I just shit. I have someone back home who I need to see. I thought i lost her.”

            ELIZABETH LOOSENS UP A LITTLE, oddly feeling some sense of familiarity in the situation. she swallows, knowing it was best left dead and back home. she did hope for the best with this man’s someone and maybe he’d see her again. “don’t apologize. it’s obviously stressful. who is she to you?”

Bruce smiles fondly at the other males description, “I will tell her if I see her that you are here. A one year old eh?” Bruce fondly remembers his own being that young though it seemed like a very long time ago

            GIVING THE OTHER MAN A HALF-SMILE, james nods. “thank you,” he says. “if i find anyone with that height, i will tell them you’re looking for them as well.” he smiles more fully before it drops. “yeah, and has already been through too much. i’m only hoping him and his mother are safe. we weren’t when i was brought here.”

“spoken to me before i’ve had my coffee,” lara sighed as she shut her eyes tightly, a yawn falling from her lips. gingerly, she sipped at the coffee cup in her hands. “that time is it? either way, it’s too early.”

              MERETHYL HAD HEARD A LOT ABOUT COFFEE AND HOW LACK OF IT CAUSED A LOT ANGER. “i think it’s eight o’clock. well, at the very least it’s eight o’clock. i usually rise with the sun and lose the time throughout the day.”

“thank you,” emma spun around in her chair to look at him, a yawn escaping her lips. “cause i was close to grabbing it and throwing it that forehead of yours.” 

            MIKE SMIRKED A LITTLE AND NODDED. “i wouldn’t have blamed you,” he said, glancing at the pen. “i was a bit distracted, but that’s not an excuse.”

“that’s a good point. i’ve always been bad at hurting things or people.” abigail laughed softly as she smiled over at the brunette. “at least the soap and dresser didn’t get hurt, really. though i suppose they’re incapable of feeling pain or anything like that.” she shrugged. “anyway. we got side tracked. do you want to look at the animals now?”

            ELIZABETH NODS IN UNDERSTANDING. she got angry before everything happened, but she felt much more anger now than she ever could have imagined. much more anger she was acting on. she just kept acting on it. “that’s true. maybe you could also try throwing a paintbrush at a canvas some time too? then you have art.” her eyebrows lifted and she nodded her head when she was reminded over why she was really there. “yes! i’d love to!”

“sounds like a death wish, man. but like.. if you’re gonna die, why not go out having fun?” carl laughed, a small smile on his face as he looked over at the man, amused. “are you serious about that?”

            “ONLY A DEATH WISH IF YOU GOT A SHIT BOUNCE WATCHER. you know a friend that makes sure to watch and catch you if you bounce off.” jason shrugged, completely serious. though when he’d done it before there was grass rather than pavement. “completely, but... are there any cabanas or stuff out at the beach? that would be choice.”

“and i’m doing this because…?” shuri raised a brow as she looked over at tony, clearly confused. “c’mon, i need an explanation for this little experiment. what’re you on to, tony?”

            TONY LOOKED UP AT SHURI AND STARED FOR A SECOND. “uh because...” he started but his voice trailed off. because he needed to hear the sound of someone else’s voice while he worked on things. “i’m kinda figuring out a new lab for here. have you started working on one here? wanna buddy up on building one?”
