Today I was at a graduation ceremony for a big acting school in Los Angeles and one of the speakers was a producer on Fargo and he was telling stories and one of them was that the cast and crew went bowling once and they had some sort of tournament or something and it ended up being Martin Freeman against Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman beat Billy Bob and when he did he jumped up into the air and screamed “YES I BEAT THAT FUCKER!!” and that was my favorite story of the day

My step dad and I were watching Halt and Catch Fire reruns this morning. When we reached the scene where Joe's shirt is unbuttoned because he wrestled with Gordon, he turns to me saying, "Now I think this scene is meant to be dramatic, not to have you going 'Oh yeah.'" He did the high pitched voice too.

I obviously comment on that scene often.

"Balrogus, which tangled with enormous ancient snakes and turtles in the Amazon Rainforest for a few million years after the dinosaurs went extinct, gets its name from the “Balrog” creature mentioned in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings series. Like the fictional Balrog, balrogus was found deep within a mine. This one happened to be the Cerrejón coal mine of northern Colombia, not the Mines of Moria, but still a mine all the same."
