the txtbomber is a tool approximately the size of a household iron that generates political statements and prints them out onto any flat surface. powered by a large battery and an arduino micro-controller, the device is entirely self-contained and portable. 

vinyl workout is an oversized vinyl record that is powered by the movement of people walking or running across its surface. the speed is correlated to the speed of the person; when the participant stops and walks away the record slowly comes to a halt. the project was created for the rotterdam electronic music festival as an engaging way to reconnect people to the integral relationship between movement and sound. 

romori is a digital acoustic instrument family. the work explores new interfaces between humans and computers. it focuses especially on the development of new hardware and software solutions that enables a more expressive control of the composition process as well as the live performance of computer music. 

the 365 knitting clock is stiching the time as it passes by. it is knitting 24 hours a day and one year at the time, showing the physical representation of time as a creative and tangible force. after 365 days the clock has turned the passed year into a 2 m long scarf. now the past can be carried out in the future and the upcoming year is hiding in a new spool of thread, still unknitted. 

daily stack is a playful tool that helps you become more aware of your daily work-flow and time management. by creating a physical representation of your tasks, daily stack speaks subtly to your conscience and helps manage your time through unobtrusive ambient feedback.

ototo is a musical invention kit which allows anyone to quickly and easily create their own electronic musical instrument. with ototo you can unpack the kit and make anything from a drum kit of saucepans to origami that sing when touched. 

yuri suzuki talks about his radio with a circuit board arranged like the london tube map and his mission to demystify consumer electronics.  the printed circuit board is a remarkable invention. due to the process of the efficiency of the electronics you can see something very complicated, almost like a maze. but what if you could replace it with something you are familiar with? i really wanted to make a design that was a little bit like a narrative.

a miniature vehicle that detects and follows a black line whilst it reads crossing coloured lines and translates this RGB data into sound. users could draw a randomly shaped circuit using a black marker pen on a piece of paper and the colour chaser followed the line. then add different layers of colour across the black line at intervals the vehicle detects the colour RGB data and transfers that into sound.

noteput is an interactive music table with tangible notes, that combines all three senses of hearing, sight and touch to make learning the classical notion of music for children and pupils more easy and entertaining. 

there are certain objects we look at constantly but never acknowledge. we state at computer screens and chalkboards for hours on end, for example, but it's the information they convey that draws our attention, not the objects themselves. gould has long user her camera to highlight the seemingly invisible things around us, and her newest work examines one of the most prolific, and overlooked, objects of all times: touchscreens.

what gould has done is wait for the screens of her family's ipads to get all smeared and sticky with fingerprints, then scanned the screen and manipulated the image to remove the screen's content. the result are images of what is usually completely invisible and designed to be so. the screen is made visible by the way that the images show only the traces of the taps and swipes of the fingers that have touched the screen: no bodies and not content, only pure interface.

suwappu is a group of eight characters, four of which have already been released, whose lower and upper halves can be swapped. image-recognition software allows them to live and perform in an augmented-reality world, making them among the first of a new type of entertainment environment and experience. 

olinda sends the musical taste of your online social network to a physical radio as streamed music. Suddenly the online part serves as the input, whereas the product functions as an actuator - playing songs.
