Currently whilst I am updating my website, I have implemented these cover pages. Still allowing a potential client to see some small aspects of my work, and also enable to contact my via three social media platforms and my professional email address.

The overall aesthetics of this app is simply, yet utlising the bold imagery relating to the origins of the products. I have decided to use the conventional typeface which Grand Cafe use on their logo, as I find it to be quite pleasing and gives the app a ruff feel, instead of being pin sharpe and clinically clean. 

Another method I have chosen to complete is a loyalty system. Even though many coffee brands such as Starbucks and Costa Coffee have the loyalty systems to keep and gain returning customers. We both feel this method will certainly increase engagement with customers, and also increase the awareness of where the products are sold. The form of this loyalty system will be in a mobile application design. This is cost effective than a print based format, and also enabling large amounts of information to be added or changed if needed. 

Here is my final designs of the pop up coffee transporters. There will be four shipping containers, at the beginning of each container, the members of the public will receive a shot of coffee, and be able to drink it whilst experiencing the place of origin. 

My initial ideas for the coffee transports will be in the form of shipping containers, thus allowing easy transportation from location to locations. But also, keeping with the transportation theme of foreign imports and exports. 

I have come up with the idea of designing pop up coffee transporters, which would enable members of the public to walk through pods and see aspects of were the coffee is from. This would act as a form of guerrilla marketing, and hopefully enable the campaign is become more well known. 

Whilst Jack is working on the changes needed to be made on the packaging, he asked for my help for some inspiration. Here are some initial sketches I have created, in order for him to gain an idea to move forward with. 

As the brief requires us to engage current and new customers, a stronger way for us to do so, is to sell directly to customers. Currently the brand predominantly sells directly to various other businesses. However integrating the products into various supermarkets, will increase the awareness of the brand and engage newer customers. The majority of consumers will not go out of their way to find and source a product, however if its at their local supermarket and it’s conveniently for them to purchase, the business is making it easier to gain their purchase. 

We have also come up with a verity of names, each name relating strongly towards the storyboards which I have completed. For example, Wonderland because the man wonders through a place he’s never visited before and its like Alice in Wonderland. 

We did have some other ideas, such as ‘Let the dreamers drink’ however we felt this one was more successful. 

Here are my final storyboards will all the adjusted from the feedback I received on our final interim presentation. We need to now rename the products, so the items have a stronger relationship between the videos and packaging. Also Jack and I have decided to fully relate using illustrations on the packaging to the storyboards, and the places they are from. 

Video Four -  Grand Cafe fair trade. Based in Peru, involving a male actor. He’s finished work and heads down to the London Underground, sees his train is delayed. He drinks his fair trade coffee and is transported from a busy platform right into the middle of a street carnival. He sees bright vivid attire, large crowds, celebration and very large floats.

Video three - Grand Cafe fair trade decaf. This video involved another female actress, sat on a packed bus. A person next to her is on the phone talking very loudly. She drinks her decaf coffee and is transported to Vietnam, rowing on a very peaceful basket pod. She right in the middle of all the amazing islands Vietnam as to offer, and arrives on the beach. She finds a chair to sit down on the beach and is suddenly taken back to the bus. 

Video two - Grand Cafe triple certified. This story will involve a female actress in a large traffic jam, we drinks her tripled certified coffee and is taken from her hot car, to a gorgeous beach in Sumatra. She dives into the ocean, and is taken out of her day dream back to reality.

As part of increasing my online presence, I have created my very own personal website. Which will showcase my own work, both from University and also anything extra I have done in my spare time. This will hopefully increase my chances of getting noticed from agencies and allow potential employers to see my work and get in contact with me. 

Video one - Grand Cafe Rainforest. Will involve a male character sat at his desk, the boss comes over and dumps a pile of paperwork for him to completed. He drinks his Grand Cafe Coffee, and is transported into the jungle. He sees an array of exotic animals, waterfalls and dense jungle surrounds.
