(idk if i should pin this but i just wanna clear a few things up)
i've moved on from yandere simulator and its creator for quite a while now, and I want to make it clear that i don't want to be involved with the fandom or certain content creators anymore. i still don't plan on taking down my old art, but i also don't think I enjoy the game enough to continue making content for it in the future.
as for the whole ai situation, i recently found out that someone reposted my old callout post to reddit. i'm not active on either of the yansim subreddits, so i didn't even know about it until like a month later. i wanna make it clear that i absolutely accept criticism for working with / endorsing a platform run by a pedophile. i take full responsibility for that, and i don't really have an excuse for what i did back then. i've deleted the original callout post since then, but if you're thinking about working with alex mahan in the future, please don't let nostalgia blind you. be aware of who you're getting involved with and how controversial this guy is. speaking from experience, it's very unlikely you're gonna get a good outcome from it. i've learned that lesson myself a long time ago.
that being said, to some of the people i've seen doing this: please stop harassing artists and then chalking it up to "karma." you can criticize someone's actions without treating harassment as some kind of deserved punishment. fan creators don't deserve to have their work scraped and fed into ai either.
