Major shout out to @tholiem-1109 and @awangwardia not only for drawing Hitman, but also making them cool! I always enjoy seeing whatever Hitman art they post ^^

Additional shout out to @cartoonishly and @lone-pylon for their Hitman animations/animatic! Bc of those, I started to make animations/animatics of Hitman (hopefully I get to make cool/more silly ones as well!) Was always hesitant to post animations, but these two rly helped me animate :D

Also special shout out to @tthryrys for their superb media analysis! I dont always do analysis of characters, but I love reading stuff that aligns with how I've interpreted the characters ^^

i tend to notice that a lot of the people who engage with them as a romantic pair are queer, despite the ship being a hetero pair (hetgem tho), while most straight fans either selfship or think they're too toxic ig ? PS straight men in the fandom are simply openly sexist and will dislike diana no matter what she does.

so here's my thoughts and why i think it's an attractive ship, as a queer person :

the pairing does a great job at many different things, including reversing misogynistic behaviour (towards a more matriarchal hierarchy), involving a sexually deviant male character (47 being asexual, not very common is M/F media) thus striping them of heteronormative / degrading sexual behaviour, also since 47's integrity and body autonomy is tightly controlled by diana BUT eventually she lets him be on the same level - it shows there's growth and utter respect towards each other.

Pros:

Doctors paying off their medical loans with prize money

Chronically ill people getting free testing (MRIs, CAT scans, X-Rays, bloodwork, etc) and possibly a diagnosis

You can ding points for 'anxiety' and 'you just need to lose some weight'

Doctors are incentivized to find an answer, not just find something billable
