while im on the topic of fire emblem lore

the archanean falchion & the valentian falchion are two completely different falchions.

the valentian falchion could only be used by those bearing the mark of duma ( alm ) because naga bestowed it onto duma himself when he was exiled in the event that mila and duma degenerated. its why it is called the ONE AND ONLY GODSLAYING SWORD. it was supposed to kill them and seal them away in the event that they degenerated.

archanean falchion was bestowed in the war against the dragons to anri in which it becomes passed down from generation to generation. the blade is a mark of anri’s bloodline, and those blessed by NAGA to defeat degenerated dragons. apparently, the damn thing can be replicated via nagi, but its weaker and heavier than the original.
