This one cannot deny he is a large source for both.

[She pats one of his arms.] Very large.

And this one has a sneaking suspicion you are allowing him to win.

Hmmm. [She nuzzles him back.] This one has been outplayed.

[Just to demonstrate how trapped she is, he pulls her tightly into his chest and runs a big, sloppy kiss up her cheek.]

[She squirms, turning her head away and giggling.] This one will freeze to death, covered in spit and rabbit!

Yes. The old ‘pretend to be freezing to death’ trick. It is how this one traps all of his unsuspecting prey.

This one is resigned to her fate. She has fallen for your trap and must pay the price.

[He licks her again, this time dragging out the process.] Yes.

[Her ears flatten, and she grumbles, but it's all good-natured.] This one regrets saving you from the snow.

[He grins, opening his mouth comically wide and nipping at an ear.] Perhaps this one is still hungry, and has decided to season you up…

[She bops him lightly on the nose with the rabbit stick.] So this one will taste of rabbit?

I am. [He looks down and licks the top of her head.] Not entirely, but quite a bit better than an hour ago.

[Her face wrinkles up at the sudden affection, but her voice is full of mirth.] This one now has rabbit grease in her fur as thanks. No good deed goes unpunished.

[He finishes another bite before murmuring his agreement.] It is good to be selective.

Especially with something so precious. Are you feeling better, friend Kriijo?

[She settles in comfortably, taking her own bite before offering the stick back up.] Let us not waste the good things on those who will not appreciate them.

We might do them all a favor, and slip moon sugar into the tap at the inn.

[She laughs.] But do they deserve it? [She recovers the rabbit from the fire, and, without fanfare, seats herself in his lap and offers the stick up to him for first bite.]

Yet this wisdom is so often forgotten, especially in this province.

We can only pity them, and hope to lead by example.

And a wonderful job of it you do, though your appearance is far too pleasing to be simply utilitarian.

It is well-known that useful means little if the tool is not also beautiful. 

But it took your beautiful eyes to spot me as well. You are so very full of talents.

This one strives to be useful in all things.

How fortunate that his teeth chatter so audibly. This one discovers new talents every day, it seems. Still, it does not diminish your own talent for finding.

Large ears must be good for more than chewing on and losing heat through.

[A slight chuckle.] Yes, and yours as well. We are rather lucky, now that this one thinks on it. What are the odds of we two, with our resplendent white coats, finding each other out in all of this snow?

This one would have missed you, if not for the chattering of your fine teeth.

[His shoulders sink a bit.] Perhaps.
