I often feel as though I am running out of time. Why? I couldn't say. But I feel crushed by the thought that I will never be able to achieve all the things I want to or be the person I want to be in the time that I have. . I wrote this poem to remind myself to take it easy. That not every day has to be at the level of mountain climbing or sea crossing. Sometimes life is quiet, small moments. . Trying to be creative in multiple ways this year so I had a lot of fun painting with one of my best friends today 💕 originally planned to paint a silhouette of sailor moon in the foreground but epically failed 😅 but regardless the moon always makes me feeling inspired and i love how this turned out despite my poor art skills 😂. "Strive for wisdom! Or at least a decrease in idiocy." - Angela the Herbalist 🌱 . . This was one of my last reads of 2019 and I had a wonderful time with it. The Fork, the Witch, and the Worm is a collection of short stories all connected by one overarching narrative from the world of the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. I LOVED those books as a kid and would get lost for days in the world of Alagaesia, so I was incredibly happy to return to the magic of it and to the characters I knew and loved. I really hope we'll get another book from this world sometime soon but until then I definitely recommend this to anyone who loved the original series and wanted a small glimpse back into it ✨ . .
