DUDE. Just watched re: phalloplasty and keeping front-end (just saw it called man-cave and died, lmfao). Hey, I was wondering if I have to tell the doctor I'm trans if I get tested for itss. I'm fine, I just want to make sure I'm clean and I'm not getting a swab(I would rather hit myself with a baseball bath, litteraly lol) so I just don't see why I have to tell them since all my papers says male and my urine and blood can't be that different just because I'm trans. If I have something I will tell them but otherwise why should I ? :\
I usually do tell them, just so that they can be as accurate as possible. STIs manifest differently in people (in terms of symptoms really) but it’s really just about an accurate medical record. But you can probably get away with not telling them,Â

When you're about to "do the Do" with someone, how do you tell them that you're trans? And how do they usually react? I'm kind of worried that I'll never get laid because of it. :c
I’m kind of upfront about it from the beginning. If I meet someone on like a dating site for example, they know I’m trans. And if I have a crush on someone, I kind of wait until we’re having a personal conversation and bring it up to them. But I’m not very hidden about it, so a different trans person might have a better answer.Â
Some people ask really invasive questions, or ignorant questions. Some people reveal that they’re fetish-ists.. mostly people ask questions really.Â
It’s not something that will keep you from laid if you meet the right people, who are safe and open to communicating.Â
Hey!! Have you ever heard of a packer that is smaller for packing but then had an extendable option (whether it be a pump or something else) for play? Just curious about getting my boyfriend something along those lines because I know he would be very interested in that. Obviously the pump could easily be hidden in the packing specific boxers he has. Just thought if there was someone to ask it would be you. Thanks so much!!!
There are “pack and play” options, they usually come with a rod that makes it stiffer, and not a pump.Â
Whats your opinion on changes in sexuality after starting T/transitioning? I've seen a few FTM guys who identified as lesbian before transition, and then noticed an attraction to males or other non-female genders after transition.
I’ve noticed that a lot of FTMs, as they start to feel more secure in their masculinity, become more open to exploring their sexuality. They feel safer in exploring sex with men, or at least more comfortable. I think it has to do with being comfortable with yourself - I don’t stand by the “T makes you gay” argument.Â

I recently came out as a trans guy to my mum and while she's supportive she keeps telling me that she needs to grieve for the "loss of her daughter." Idk if it's actually transphobic or not but it's really getting to me and making me feel like shit. What can I do?
I think you can argue both sides, that it is and isn’t transphobic.Â
In terms of “it is”, you are the same person. You’re still her kid, and nothing and no one has died. The only thing changing is how you are perceived in the world, and how she should address you (and adjust her expectations of your future as well). It’s transphobic to call this change in your life that drastic, to compare it to  “death”. Ultimately, her kid is still there.Â
However, some people can argue that it isn’t transphobic because she’s just adjusting. She wants to be supportive, but she needs time to put those expectations she had for her daughter to rest.Â
If it makes you feel uncomfortable, then it’s an important conversation to have. Something like, Mom, I’m still your kid and I don’t appreciate you comparing my transition to someone dying. I’m still here and I love you and if you love and support me, then let’s talk about what you think you’re losing. So I can reassure you about what my life is really going to be like, and that things aren’t going to be that different.Â

Most people wash it after wearing it for several hours. It’s more like...personal hygiene. They collect lint and sweat so it just kind of gets gross. I just wash mine in the shower. How often you wash it is up to you, but if you wear it against your genitals (as opposed to wearing it in packing underwear) I would recommend washing it more often.Â

Recently I've been dealing with a lot of internalized transphobia. Have you ever felt like you're not "man enough" or a "true man" because of your body? How do you deal with feeling that way?
Of course, I think we all feel that way at some point. You spend the majority of your life hearing that a man looks this way, and when your body doesn’t reflect the same, of course those fears come to your head. I see them as a phase. We all have phases of “hell yes my body is awesome, I’m awesome” and moments where our insecurity feels like it is destroying us.
How do I deal? I remind myself it’s a cycle, this feeling won’t last forever. Yesterday I felt secure in my masculinity and today I don’t and tomorrow, who knows. I do something I love, like go for a run or watch a show that I find happy. I share my feelings through youtube. You could seek out other trans guys on youtube that share these feelings.Â
You give them a healthy space because sometimes these feelings just need to happen, and eventually, you grow from there. It’s a process.Â

did being on T in the very beginning cause you to cry at all? I just started T four days ago and yesterday and today ive started crying over nothing and the tears will not stop no matter what i do to calm down. just wondering if you or anyone you know experienced this
YES this did happen to me and I’ve heard it happening to others. Hormonal changes do that to a person. congrats on starting T :) you’ll stabilize soon, hopefully. and if it continues for more than a month or so, i’d check in about your levels.
