A Play Of Nature #2

Dark fog,

Moonlit night,

Quiet steps,

Without force.

Twinkling hazel eyes,

 Immense longing,

 Pebble paths,

Through the valley.

Wandering all night,

Past countless trees,

When finally alone;

You and me.

Co-existing,

Unstoppable desire,

Floating flower scents

In the engulfing air.

Breathing in starlight,

– and you –

Energy tornados,

Soundless noise,

Silent lips.

Exploring the cosmos,

– and you –

Pure passion,

Leaf to leaf.

Dancing branches,

Mind in haze,

Moved by wind,

Ongoing rhythm.

Colorful mess,

Eyes full of joy,

Endless peace.

Invisible light,

 Water flowing uphill,

Reaching stars,

Combining souls.

Crashing world,

Within a second,

Tidel waves,

Turning sides.

Dying vitality,

Untruthful fate,

Crying clouds,

Grey grass.

Mountains too high,

Canyons too deep,

Unbreakable boundaries.

Collapsing beauty,

Storming desert,

Soon forgotten,

And newly inflamed.

Fran captured us napping in the sun.

Yesterday, my roommate Fran and I took my bunny to the park. We set up our space with a huge blanket in the shade, from where we could overlook a tiny valley, the runners running their rounds, people walking their dogs, students studying or simply enjoying the sun…

Sister appreciation. I love her so much – she has no idea just how much. She is the most beautiful human being to me. There are so many times, where I wish I could just punch her really hard.... But I know, I would protect her with all I have. She doesn't understand yet, how much I think about her and worry about her sometimes. But the day will come... when she realizes how much fun it is to have a sister, how convenient (although she's already figured out how convenient it is to have a sister with car – I've received multiple calls in the middle of the night...) the good thing, however, I'm happy to receive such calls. I love doing things for and with her. I really do.

Moving to Rome has definitely turned out to be very surprising. In the two weeks I’ve been here, I’ve already learned so much! I’ve started to learn a new language - Italiano -, I’ve seen beautiful sunsets, I’ve met funny, smart, creative, passionate and welcoming people and I’ve tried many new delicious dishes! BUT I’ve also learned more about myself. Being alone in a completely new environment with strangers is nothing new to me, however, the student life is something else. Student life-style with all its ups and downs has only just begun to hit me. I’m anxious, whilst also extremely excited, for all the adventures waiting.
