Does anyone else feel super cocky when they finish an episode of Gentleman Jack? Like goddamn, I feel like I could go do a business type thing or seduce some wealthy shut in; like my confidence just soars.

that being said, imagine writing a review where ur take on gentleman jack is “anne is too confident” “nobody’s scared enough” “other people like the main character too much” and on top of that being like “tipping the velvet was better because everyone was sad and scared :(”. like, we get it—you only want lesbian media that depicts lesbians as sad and afraid, and the world as a relentless flurry of homophobia, because lesbians aren’t allowed to have pleasant escapist media where we can imagine ourselves living freely and happily, having romances and dramas the way straight people do. we’re only allowed to be pitiable objects (or sexual objects) and nothing else.
