Synopsis:

Hello everybody. I am happy to announce that I am literally so fucking back.

My writers block is gone. My creativity is flowing. TIFTT chapter 14 is no longer kicking and screaming to be kept off the page. I am diligently working to get it up asap. I will catch up on all tags and comments once I have this chapter complete.

General update for anyone interested…

Things have honestly been insane these last few months. When I got back from my Japan trip I managed to get both a full time and casual job, which means I’m completely swamped in work Monday to Friday, and at the same time that happened a side project of mine (that is VERY fun but EXTREMELY time consuming) started to take off and do well, so I’ve been having to dedicate almost all my free time at night/on weekends to it.

Chapter 14 of TIFTT is honestly really kicking my ass too. For some reason I’m struggling with it a lot — it’s given me mad writers block and made me crash out like a dozen times over the last few weeks 😭 that being said, I FINALLY have a totally free day tomorrow, so I’m going to knuckle down and try to power through it. It’s the biggest hurdle with TIFTT right now — the next few chapters after it I already have a lot of scenes written for / the structure figured out, but 14 was one I didn’t have anything prewritten even though I know what needs to happen. It’s kind of a bridging chapter into 15, which bridges into 16 and 17, which should end our intro arc (and give me a motivation boost because we’ll be getting into more action sequences after). I’m just not happy with what I have written so far so I keep revising stuff when I can, and the writers block isn’t helping 😭

Anyway, sorry for the letdown on the vague timeframe I gave last post. I genuinely did try to meet my self imposed deadline, but this chapter has seriously been beating me up. I haven’t forgotten about TIFTT and will continue to write, I’m just hoping that things will settle down irl because I’m spread a bit thin rn <3

Once we get 14 out of the way I’ll be hoping to get back into a posting routine.
