last night i dreamt that i was at this celebrity concert thing, where a bunch of really famous singers sang after one another. at one point all of the girls and women left to smoke or something, so it was just me and some boys left (all straight white boys that i personally know). then Shawn Mendes came on stage and i was really worried bc we were so few, and none of the boys were fans. so he started out by talking about playing hide and seek and making jokes about playing hide and seek with us all. as he talked he later said that "when i find my future husband" and all the boys were like :0 did he just come out by accident?? Oh No.. but then he started talking abt being trans and not out. and everyone was like, what's happening.... so it dawned on me that he was "playing hide and seek", hiding his tRUE identity as a straight cis man, because that was how the people wanted him to hide his true identity. so i asked if that was the case, which it was, and i was like "oh wow so you're really just coming out as a straight white man? Oh No I feel so bad for you, having to hide your true identity like that, oh WOW that's so terrible, oh wow you're actually the norm:(((( and you have to hide that:((" and then he got really mad at me, saying something abt victim mentality or some stupid shit like that

hey, you know how some have been talking about how you should stay alive in spite? i’m here to remind everyone, who is any type of minority, that you should stay alive and THRIVE to SPITE every singe person who wants you dead because of something that you can’t change. don’t let them win, fight to stay alive and watch them be mad about it!

time for an unpopular opinion. I think the fame of Billie Eilish is really problematic. I don’t think she is, since she’s a child. But first of all, I think that it’s really really unhealthy for children to reach this amount of fame. We all know what happens with child stars. It’s just too much - even for adults. Second, she is SO sexualized for a CHILD. I keep seeing ADULTS write gross ass things about her. However, it IS difficult to guess her age, as she’s so heavily sexualized. I asked my dad how old he thought she was after watching one of her videos, and he thought that she was in her mid-20′s. I just watched the video for ‘bad guy’ and it is SO INCREDIBLY sexual for a child. And all her costars, the male attractions or whatever, are grown ass men. I find it appalling. I wish that she wasn’t famous, and I feel bad for her. 

you know, after much consideration, it really wasn’t in finn’s character to cheat on rae. it feels like they just needed some friction between them, so they made him do something that is in no way in character. finn would not do that. especially with that girl. how dare they make me mad at finn

hey, i really enjoyed the movie Eighth Grade. there are several reasons why, but what really got me was the car scene. you know the one. the way that it displays how uncomfortable those little gestures and advances can be really hit home. technically, he doesn’t assault her. but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t feel like assault. i think every girl i know has been in this kind of situation, where it’s just like you have no escape. and the way he makes her feel guilty and embarrassed afterwards, just because she refuses. wow, the accuracy. and it’s so hard to explain to others, thinking that they won’t understand, because they weren’t there. it’s more of a feeling - an underlying pressure. fuck him and fuck anyone that makes another person feel that way. anyways, i just thought they did an amazing job showing this.
