“oh god, what the hell did i just drink?” sofia asked as she spat out the drink that someone had given her. “it tastes like fucking cat piss!”

Ezra grunts as he shifts his weight from one foot to the other, the movement a largely unsuccessful attempt to make the boxes balanced in his hands somehow feel lighter. He has his tongue pinched between his teeth as he shifts the boxes again, tries to uncurl his fingers from around cardboard to press the doorbell one more time. However he’s startling at the door suddenly swinging open before he can complete the action, his hands fumbling with the boxes in his hands in his surprise. 

He can’t actually see above all the stuff piled in his arms, can barely even spot the top of the person’s head even as he cranes his own, so really, Ezra is greeting the other person blindly as he says, “Uh, hey. I’m Ezra, I’m gonna just cut to the chase here, exactly what am I going to have to promise you to get you to help me move this shit inside?”

when natalie opened the door to go make a call, this isn’t what she expected at all. “ uh, nothing,” she said, going to make a clumsy grab at the box he had highest. after lifting it from her, she held it in front of her chest, getting a better look at the other. “ oh, well, maybe you could help me take everyone’s order, “ she said after some thinking, “ i’m ordering pizza hut. “ as the box started to slip from her fingers she pushed it up by balancing it on her knee. “ i’m natalie by the way. “

“Don’t get me wrong; I’m really excited to be here! I’m just not sure I’m gonna deal well being gone from my children for so long. And by children I mean my students and my cat.”

natalie grinned. “ oh, my god, i thought you meant your actual kids for a minute and i was about to say something really gross like ‘ you’re so young ! ‘ so thanks for stopping that. you’re a teacher ? that’s actually pretty cool. what grade do you teach ?  “ nat only had a job to occupy her time, which gave her a case of misdirected guilt. and she hadn’t even gotten that job until she moved out of her parents house, which was kind of worse.

“ yeah, well i got inspired by marcos and decided to try it out myself. oh my god, of course i got it on camera. my favorite reaction was hands down sofias. here - look. “ she took her phone out from her pocket, searching for the video she took. once she found it she handed it over to nat. “ it’s actually amazing, she i made her some concauction of a drink and just added a shit load of salt in it. she spat the whole thing out. “ emmi laughed just thinking back on it. “ what?! that’s a horrible prank. oh my gosh - i can only imagine little nat getting so scared, thinking her parents aren’t coming home. that’s so sad! “

“That he is. I’m like one of the only constants in his life. Everything else is so fleeting.” Her intention was to brag and she always did it well. “Three years, we’re a match made in heaven.” Although it would seem she used him for his fame, it wasn’t the case in the slightest, he is her everything. “He and I are forever, you know? “ oh please, leaving it to the imagination is just so boring. but fine, if you don’t wanna take the risk and leave it to the imagination, you do you, just knowing you’re passing up a grand opportunity, ” adrian told the other, winking. “ oh, wouldn’t really call myself a gamer, sounds nerdy. i’m more so just a guy whose subscribers literally begged for gaming videos after he uploaded a vlog with him playing call of duty with a friend in it. besides, getting paid to play video games doesn’t sound too shabby to me. ” his shoulders lifted in a shrug as he studied nat. even without the unamused expression on her features adrian could tell she wasn’t the gaming type. “ my god, you’re that girl? oh yes, it’s definitely still out there. youtube doesn’t forget, babe. pretty hilarious video though, got sent a link of it and you kept me entertained for a good week. ”

“Bingo, he’s the one.” She gave a thumbs up. “Oh my gosh, you’re Nat! I completely forgot. You know, he tells me everything, so it’s hard to keep track of all the girls in his life.” She laughed as she brushed some hair behind her shoulder. “They come and go so quickly you must of slipped my mind.”
