This is Anthromisia

As the title implies, this is a blog dedicated to identifying, highlighting and validating experiences of hatred and bigotry towards the furry community and individuals. Inspired by the likes of @this-is-ableism @thisis-intersexism @this-is-fatphobia @thisis-aphobia @this-is-ageism @this-is-amato-heteronormativity and similar blogs.

I'd rather keep my identity secret, just know I use he/him pronouns, and can probably be referred to as simply "mod" if ever necessary.

For clarification, anyone is welcome here. Obviously anyone that sends hate or expresses open bigotry will be promptly blocked, but submissions are not restricted to exclusively furries, if a non-furry has witnessed or directly encountered a form of furry hate, submissions are very much welcome.

I do not discriminate. If you're worried I will think negatively of you due to any aspect of your identity, be it sexuality, gender identity, religious beliefs, or otherwise, ignore those thoughts. I won't.

This blog is run by a sex-repulsed individual. You may bring up topics of sexuality and possibly kink, but keep details to a minimum whenever possible, I'd really rather not hear them.

Also remember, I am not infallible, I will make mistakes. All I ask is that this is understood, respected and approached in a reasonable manner.

But he’ll get a good amount of comments from people saying something like there are gonna be people buying them for the “wrong” reasons cause they’re furries. And its like, yeah?? A lot of his fanbase is furries?? Not all of em are gonna buy a plush for sexual reasons like theyre implying cause being a furry isnt explicitly a sex thing, but Im sure a few will. And good for them. Not my thing but I dont see why people need to be weird about it.

It’s just really weird to me that people don’t realize and act like its something gross and weird cus like… he’s been a part of the furry community for a few years now. I dunno if he’s a furry himself but he uses the furry tag and has done some plush commissions of peoples fursonas in the past. Like, he might not be a furry himself, but he is very much a part of the community. How is this something people do not know?

In the past two or three weeks, I've worn two tails out in public- a small nub, and a brand new larger Thylacine tail

No one cares. No one has come up to me and expressed hostility. If someone comments on the tail, it's a compliment of the larger one. I just hesitate to take it to small shops because I don't want to knock things over, but I literally even took it into a pizza joint and no one cared there, either. Took it into a museum and an employee got my attention to compliment it. The only creature that has expressed anything other than that was a small dog in the apartment elevator, because humans don't typically have tails, y'know? Tried to be as gentle as possible and let the dog even sniff it. Owner was amused by it, not upset at all. That's the extent of it, literally.

I WILL say, though, that if you are planning to drive with a tail on, do NOT drive with a densely stuffed tail, that WILL hurt your back because of how you will have to squish it between you and the seat. Larger tails are easier to maneuver in that sense.

Anyway. Pondering taking the big tail to the zoo, but I don't want to freak out or confuse the animals, even though it looks like it'll be allowed through the gates. Maybe the nub sometime

You can hate the current fandom if you want to. But that's no excuse for being disrespectful and attempting to antagonise people.

It doesn't matter how long one has been involved in the fandom, especially in comparison to me, who doesn't much care and also…still has you blocked, why keep reblogging from me?

What exactly would make Minecraft a kid's game anyway? It takes itself rather seriously, and it's not like people just lose any desire to create when they return 18. In fact, I only got Minecraft shortly after I turned 18. I even made a skin of my fursona :3
