Robin!!!

Welcome! It's, as usual by now, @theguybehindthechair with a new blog! Had to reset the numbers, ya know?

This here is my version of Dick Grayson back in his years as Robin! Below I list some of the things I take inspiration from, as well as some of my own ideas.

His characterization is a large soup of the canons and headcanons I've come across. Namely, Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Batman and Robin: Year One, Teen Titans: Year One, the YJ TV show, the (original) Teen Titans TV show... basically anywhere that I've decided wrote his character well as a kid suffering from so much trauma.

My version suffers from PTSD, as to be expected. He copes through humor, especially puns. He loves puns or any dumb joke.

He's roughly 10-14, depending on who I'm RPing with and the storyline we've landed on. All I know is that he's been Robin for at least a year and is reasonably established with the Teen Titans.

He has a bit of a savior complex, as well as survivor's guilt. He will not let anyone die on his watch, and he will blame himself if someone does.

he's transmasc and bi. Since he's so young, I likely won't do any shipping for him [perhaps if I'm convinced w a teen titan]
