Marcy opened her eyes, and felt cold and wet. She recognized where she was; a rejuvenation tank, the same kind she was kept in after… Marcy panicked, trying to find a way out, only to discover another shocking revolution.

Beside her, Anne and Sasha were in their own tanks, wearing the same wetsuit and hooked up to the same wires as she currently was. Before Marcy could contemplate what was going on, she felt something.

A pulsation in her stomach. A heartbeat that wasn’t hers. She was pregnant, and Marcy could only assume Anne and Sasha were in the same state.

Marcy was torn. On one hand, she was thrilled that she and her girlfriends were going to become mothers. But on the other, she wished it was on less confusing circumstances.
