i ran outside and got raindrops in my coffee and soaked feet, but the damp green color coating the world made it worth it.

i’m reading some french magazines because i want to improve in the daily use of the language outside the classroom. i’ll be in paris in about ten days and i want to feel more confident with my french. magazines are great because they are less committing than a book, what do you think?

    for once bernard wasn’t out on a society mission; rather he ran into the shih tzu maltese by complete chance. she seemed upset and — even though it wasn’t his place as a complete stranger to ask what was wrong — the red-capped mouse couldn’t just pass her by. bernard knew better than anyone that sometimes people didn’t need someone to help fix their problems but rather just needed someone to listen, and he was a great listener.
