Crispy cauliflower bites are a tasty snack or starter that can be used in many ways. This recipe lets you make four different flavor variations so you can find one that you like. If you want cheesy goodness, tangy BBQ, spicy buffalo, savory teriyaki, or savory BBQ, these cauliflower bites have it all!
Ingredients: 1 large cauliflower head. 1 cup chickpea flour. 1 cup almond milk. 1 tsp garlic powder. 1 tsp onion powder. 1/2 tsp paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. Optional toppings: BBQ sauce, buffalo sauce, teriyaki sauce, vegan cheese, green onions, sesame seeds, vegan ranch dressing.
Instructions: Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C. Put parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet. Make cauliflower florets that are small enough to eat. To make a smooth sauce, put almond milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix them all together. Cover the cauliflower florets evenly with the batter, then put them on the baking sheet that has been prepared. Put it in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until it's crispy and golden brown. Cut the baked cauliflower into four equal pieces. To make BBQ Cauliflower Bites, add BBQ sauce to baked cauliflower. To make Buffalo Cauliflower Bites, add buffalo sauce to baked cauliflower. Teriyaki Cauliflower Bites: Add teriyaki sauce to baked cauliflower and toss to coat. For Cheesy Cauliflower Bites, put vegan cheese on top of the cauliflower that has already been baked and put it back in the oven for 5 minutes to melt the cheese. You can add green onions, sesame seeds, vegan ranch dressing, or anything else you like to each variation. Enjoy while hot!
