The famine spirit, a ravenous undead whose corpulent form projects the constant agony of starvation on your hapless heroes! From the D&D 3e Monster Manual II.

Come follow me on Ko-Fi, where I am converting the entire D&D 3e Monster Manual II to 5e! Already up to the F's, which is almost halfway through the whole book!
The displacer beast pack lord! An upgraded, huge-sized version of the displacer beast, the leader of a pack and the patriarch of an entire bloodline of the dreadful creatures. Seeing as 5e's 2024 Monster Manual introduced the primeval owlbear, it seemed like high time to bring back the pack lord from the original 3.5e Monster Manual.
The spinosaurus and seismosaurus, two dinosaurs from the D&D 3e Monster Manual II. Come follow me on Ko-Fi, where I am converting the entire D&D 3e Monster Manual II to 5e! Already up to the D's, which is around 1/3rd of the way through the whole book!

We are converting the entire Monster Manual II from D&D 3.5 to D&D 5e stats! Enjoy the zovvut demon, a demon with a draining gaze attack that fights from the back ranks despite its hulking form. We just finished page 60 so we are already 1/3rd of the way through the Monster Manual II, with the rest soon to come!

I am working on that one now as I make my way through the Monster Manual II, so I will post it soon!

The Journey Begins
I have been converting D&D 3.5 monsters to 5e for almost a decade now. In that time I have converted over 150 monsters that Wizards of the Coast left behind. However, there is still a long way to go to truly be able to, as a 3.5 player, reach into the past and reference any monster you remember from the 3.5e Monster Manuals.
As such, starting with Monster Manual II, I have begun methodically going through the Monster Manuals to convert them to 5e, in a usable format everyone can find benefit in. By the end, I hope to have converted every monster from Monster Manuals I to V, as well as from Fiend Folio, Libris Mortis, Sandstorm, Frostburn, Stormwrack, and many more, into D&D 5e stats for everyone to use. Minus of course the small minority of monsters that Wizards of the Coast were gracious enough to give a 5e reprint to.

I will post some updates here as well, but mainly on there, as I work to fully preserve the wonderful monsters of D&D 3.5.
For now, please enjoy the Asperi, from Monster Manual II. The abeils and ash rat are already done, and things are moving right along.
Happy New Year to you all and best wishes.
Iirc, there were canine kobolds somewhere around 1st or 2nd Ed, and they were lost forever. Not a request, but a random silly fact
Dogbolds were a treasured part of D&D history indeed. We should keep a candle burning for their memory.

Not a monster per se but there was a sell in 3.5 that dehydrates an enemy and uses the water to make an elemental, would you bee interested in covert it and other spells that creates monsters stats?
Extract Water Elemental? One of my favorite spells of all time, I absolutely loved it. Yes I will try to make a 5e version of that spell that is balanced at some point.

This one was already brought back in Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes
Hello everyone. I started a YouTube channel where I go through the process of converting D&D 3.5 monsters to 5e and my methods for doing so. If you find it interesting, it'd be great if you could subscribe, as I'll be posting more on that channel as I get back into converting 3.5 monsters for 5e.
Made a tumblr account to ask, have you considered converting any of the Eladrins (as in the celestials)? I know you don't normally do monster families, it just bugs me that they are the only of the 9 "main" outsider groups that haven't received official 5e stats.
I haven't yet, but there do seem to be Eladrin now in Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes.
I don’t have request right now, but I wanted to thank you for all of these amazing stat blocks! I’m a fairly new DM that only played in 5e, and I already spend a lot of time on other aspect of the preparation, so all of these ressources are a life-saver in many last-minute prep!
You're welcome! I am pending a period of unemployment so hopefully some more to come soon.

Can you please do the Zezir? That weird fire raptor that I never remember how to spell right.
Zezir Medium monstrosity, chaotic evil Armor Class 16 (natural armor) Hit Points 127 (15d8 + 60) Speed 40 ft. Str 18, Dex 18, Con 19, Int 5, Wis 12, Cha 13 Damage Immunities fire Damage Vulnerabilities cold Senses darkvision 60 ft. passive Perception 11 Languages - Challenge 6 (2300 XP) Fast Healing. The zezir regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point. If the zezir takes cold damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of the zezir's next turn. Actions Multiattack. The zezir makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8+4) piercing damage. Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6+4) slashing damage. Spark Spit. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (3d6+4) fire damage. Flammable Spray (Recharge 5-6). The zezir spits a sticky flammable goo in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 17 (5d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The area continues burning for 1 minute, and any creature that starts its turn in the area during that time takes 3 (1d6) fire damage.
The zezir is a creature of the desert, hunting alone or in packs of three to eight. They delight in fire, and often will attack caravans just for the joy of watching them burn. They are pyromaniacs to the core, and the fact that they prefer to feed on ash, and seem to gain sustenance from it, only adds to their obsession. Zezirs communicate in yips and growls. They appear reptilian, but actually are closer to being avian. They stand 5 to 5-1/2 feet tall and weigh around 150 pounds.
