        ella was surprised–confront him? no, that wasn’t         it at all ! she had picked up his school I.D., so the         gaping was from her attempt to double check she         had the right person ( though it would be hard to         mistake him for someone else ) . the compliment         was also unexpected;  ella  smiles and shakes her         head, handing his card over. ❝ oh no - thank you, i         just wanted to give you this. i didn’t mean to stare.❞

A high-pitched “Oh!” came out of his throat as soon as he saw the name on the card in the  girl’s hand. He pressed his lips together into a straight line as he smiled and took it. It must’ve fallen out of his bag on his way to the next class. And this gorgeous heroine came to his rescue. Wasn’t the scene just perfect?
