As he turned, he reached out a hand, and let it hang there.  “Never trusted you...?” Well that’s not true. Even after being fused with his favorite card at the time, he trusted him. Even after nearly dying to the Spirit’s plans before, he never put that  on Ryou. Though, to be fair, maybe it was hard to show what is for who when it’s in the same body.  “I...uhm...” Never his friend? That’s...news to him. He remembers sitting with him at lunch a lot of the time, talking to him and looking over things. They had...been friends, hadn’t they? This feels, to him at least, that it came out of nowhere. It was...hard to keep the conversation going when he could see it tearing up someone he saw as a friend.  ...Even if that wasn’t the same both ways.  “Should I...leave?” He’ll ask him outright. If he didn’t want to be his friend, he can’t make him. If he didn’t want to talk to him, he can’t make that choice for him, either.  He’ll...remember what he was told here today, at least. 

“Oh, for the love that is all unholy, would you all shut up for at least two seconds and stop imploding on yourselves? This is pitiful. You were all the people who came together for your bonds to try and defeat me? Now you crumble, breaking down to fight a sitting man. Is he innocent? No. Is the Pharaoh even doing anything to defend himself? No. You want to know why? Because he hasn’t even been attacked or threatened. There is no NEED to attack any further. Get yourself a reality check before you all make yourselves look like the next damn asshole of the century.” 

But...that can’t be right. Never considered anyone else...? He can remember jumping for him a lot of times. Climbing up to try and stop the fight at Battle City, catching him after the total mess that was Millennium World, getting aggressive with Aigami when he started to harass Ryou. He wasn’t sure how to help then, and for it, got sent to whatever you want to call that demented mind hell. And when he came back, he went immediately to try and find who he called his friend.  Did he really see it that way? “I never really uh...saw it dat way. I ain’t sayin’ I’m flawless. Guess uh...an apology won’t cut it now, huh...Words can’t...fix that sorta thing, huh?” Was it really that bad? He knew plenty about his friends, or at least he...thought he did?

“Perfect lil children...? I uh... don’t actually get what’cha mean. Don’t we admit when we’re wrong? I literally had ta knock some sense inta one of dem once. I know I ain’t no saint, and I don’t think any of us are claimin’ ta be. Where is dat comin’ from...?”

“Damn, uh...goin’ a bit below da belt??? Ain’t dat still Ryou’s body...? Don’t dat mean ya kinda also just...decked his package too. . .?”

“Can I ask just one simple question? Why.”

“On....Did I come in at a bad *time?*”

“It proves my point!” Well. At least he’s...proud???

“Ah yes, and that’s the reason why there’d be a bunch of girls flocking to all sides. There’s quite literally evidence for it.”

“Who cares what they think of your face? It’s not as though that’ll matter in the end. Ugly or not, that’s not really *our* problem, now is it?” He’ll scoff, lifting up his head. “Besides, there’s a whole gaggle of girls that’d beg to differ.”

"What is there to talk about?" A sneer and pinned back ears accompanied his harsh tone. "I have every right to despise him and his lineage. End. Of. Story. What is it that you even want me to talk about?"

Got through the ones in my inbox. Now I have an hour and a half of Neko boy Joey and Yami Bakura. This! Should be interesting. 

Dragonshipping!!! I know that one! I actually wouldn't mind that. That one *might* beat out Puppyshipping for second place for that? Yeah no I don't hate that. Not my OTP, but acceptable.
