Narcissa restaurant, located in the Standard East Village hotel, hosts an incredibly chic space, food, for a very yummy and fanciful dining experience. More specifically, itâs their menu and design scheme that catches my design-eye and is worth reviewing. Their personalization of symbols and fonts and color palette is distinguished: upscale yet homey and inviting. The muted but colorful palette is fun but not too âfunâ and their sweet watercolor characters of chickens, leaves, flowers, cows, etc are the real core of the design. The painterly, hand-drawn style is succinct and sweet. I admire this menu and their branding as a new restaurant in a competitive market. When designing my menu I tried to pull inspiration from here.Â
