While it is not something game changing, the short film does showcase his incredible ability to create tension and his beautiful use of natural lighting, production design, and shot composition. After seeing the incredible debut “The Witch”, it is quite interesting to see some similarities in style and aesthetic between the two works. I found this uncompressed version of an easter egg thing I did for the “Princess and the Frog” blu ray. It’s an homage to Chuck Jones’ “Duck Amuck”. Written, storyboarded, and animated by me.
