So It Goes.

I’m so sorry that you had to go so soon. It’s been almost 2 months now since you’ve left us and yet my heart continues to hurt just the same as it did the day that I first saw the news. You were the soundtrack to my youth and honestly the only thing keeping me from getting stuck in the dark during those years. You brought meaning and hope when it was the most crucially needed. I thank you for continuously being that much needed light for the past nearly decade of my life. I know that your music will continue to save me, probably for the entirety of my time left here on this earth. And for that I could never thank you enough or form the right string of words needed in order to express the magnitude of my appreciation for your existence and the art that you shared with us. No other artist has moved me or impacted my life in such an intense way and I’m not so sure any ever will. Your energy was special and rare and although your presence isn’t physically here on earth anymore, the energy remains. The world misses you Mac, so damn much, and we will continue to miss and love you unconditionally for as long as we live. And we will continue to share your creative soul with those who need it. I hope you’re at peace now, wherever it is that you are.
