Because aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I was wondering what would happen if we abolished taxes and just ran a national lottery (that 600 million lottery in the states was on the news). Then I realized rich people wouldn't contribute (that would just be awful, wouldn't it?). So then I decided that only poor people COULD participate in the lottery and become tax exempt if they did, but with the ability to enter x amount of times per month or something. Then I wondered what the numbers were raised by the federal taxes and by all the lotteries in Canada. I haven't gotten round to that yet. Now I'm reading the intro to the budget. And not looking up stats.
