she's not entirely sure why, but theo's always had an aversion to showers. that's not to say she doesnāt take them, because hygiene is important and we all know itās way too difficult to wash long hair in the bath. but sheās never understood the feeling of peace people associate with a steaming, hot shower. no, for her itās always been more of the lukewarm or even cold route, with a miniature panic anytime a simple flush causes a bit of scalding water to break free.Ā
Ā ever since she was younger, theo has been a major fan of cheerleading. she was in gymnastics and dance classes at a young age, and tried out for the cheerleading squad the very first year she could. nobody was shocked when she made the team. after all, she knew every word of bring it on (a talent sheād boasted from age twelve), and was able to pick up cheers and choreography after only a couple of run throughs with near perfect accuracy. she often claims that she was born to cheer, and not many would try to argue otherwise.Ā
related to her shower preference, theo has never been able to get herself to shower in the school locker room. it never mattered if the other girls teased her for it, and they did at first, she just couldnāt do it. and i donāt mean that in a āshe didnāt want to shower at schoolā sort of way. no, theo physically could not get herself to even walking the locker room showers. every time she got up the nerve to try, it was as though some invisible force stopped her right at the doorway, preventing her from even entering the showers. to this day, she still has no idea what keeps stopping her.Ā
originally was named theodore, as her parents had been expecting a boy, though obviously thatās not what happened. theo is very much a lady, and a fairly girly one at that. as demonstrated by her pink and white bedroom color scheme, sizable shoe collection, massive makeup collection, and beloved (albeit small) walk in closet.Ā
100% believes in ghosts and the paranormal. weird noise? itās a ghost. strange shadow? definitely a ghost. was that the wind? nope, ghost. okay, so maybe sheās not that degree of jumpy, but sheās not above labelling something as being a ghost if she canāt find an alternative answer.
