Pietro tried to remember but truth be told, he was disconnected and confused enough by everything being so fucking fast around him. This was like wearing power dampeners; he had to concentrate not to faint or throw up. “I don’t. The last thing I remember is going to that party…” he said with a frown. “Yeah, my idea is… We could kind of — if we climb a tree and they follow, we cut cut them down easily.”
“I always knew a school was gonna kill me, didn’t think it would get me eaten though, at least not in the less fun more cannibalistic way.” She grumbled before reaching out with her free hand to rest on his arm, she can’t imagine what being with-out his powers were like. That and he was missing his sister at the same time. Her mind went to her own sisters and brothers and the hope they were safe... and alive. “So we go up, cut them down until they are gone then climb back down?”

“I don’t have any idea, Val. Away from here?” Pietro half asked, half stated. “ — Do you think they know how to climb a tree?”
“Where even is here? I don’t remember how we got here do you?” She asked turning to him before shrugging. “I’m not sure I wanna find out. If we climb and they can follow, we’re trapped. We climb and they swarm, we’re trapped, I’m not sure climbing is our best bet.”

Pietro cracked a quick smile at that. “We should probably move while there is only this many of them. We can’t just stay here and wait for them to invite themselves in.”
Returning his smile for a moment she turned back to the window. “And go where?” She asked her grip tightening at the idea of going out there, true there was only a small amount but soon their numbers would grow and while they had their weapons they were a lot weaker than they had once been.

“ — I meant someone out of this godforsaken place who likely got us all here, babe. That would be ideal,” Pietro grumbled as he fixed his hold on his machate and looked out of the window. “Where do these even come from?”
“As much fun as that would be lets focus on us being not being eaten alive, I refuse to die in a place like this.” She said confidently as she looked at the undead moving around outside oblivious to them... for now. “No idea but I’m regretting skipping that Walking Dead marathon.”
