The Young Sires

If you’re looking for something light to start your mornings off, take a listen to The Young Sires’ newest track “Swell”. This soft electropop song has just the right amount of dreaminess and electronica to have that flowery flow. I love the overall lightness on this track: the falsetto vocals and gentle beats. There’s just a hint of a funky groove that’ll make you want to put a little pep in your step.

Anyone who really knows me knows I’m passionate about psychedelic drugs. I’m at a point in my life where I’m searching for the point of life if there even is one. I’m constantly exploring consciousness in an attempt to find meaning or truth. Substances like LSD, psilocybin and DMT have been the most useful tools I’ve found to do that. I have no idea if my life matters or if anything matters and I have no foundation to base my morality on. I have no idea how to make even the smallest decisions and be confident in them. This song is a result of that struggle and that experimentation with drugs. I know it’s strange and may not be what any of you want to listen to but listening pleasure just isn’t the purpose of the song. If anything, I hope it makes you think.
