Ronnie tried not to laugh, which was easier since her mouth was full. “You super didn’t, dude,” she said. She leaned over to pull out her wallet and retrieved a black business card. ‘Miss V,’ it read, ‘The Valkyrie. Professional dominatrix.’

Suspicions confirmed, he tucked the card in his jacket pocket and turned back to “Miss V.” She must have been good at it, judging by her sharp, no-nonsense gaze and imposing physical presence. “Eh, stranger things have happened.”
